Rivers Recycling facility consists of a 37,500 square-foot building situated on a 13-acre tract. The facility is capable of processing 2,500 tons of material a month. East Texans are proud of their heritage and must be aware that they are either contributing to the destruction of the environment or becoming a major player in preserving valuable East Texas resources by making a conscious effort to recycle.
River's goal is to provide an alternative to East Texans for disposing of waste products that can be recycled or reused. In this way, citizens become partners in conserving our natural resources and cutting down on pollution. Years can be added to the life of landfill sites if citizens choose to recycle.

Closed on Saturday.. I guess people who work for a living don’t have any option other than to dump their plastic and other recyclable waste into the landfill. Or even worse, as is evident all over the place.. just dump it off on the side of the road. Great job.. How much could it possibly cost to stay open for half a day on Saturday??

Ya I worked here, they won't hire me back cuss they know their ilegal out the teeth. Employee's do alot more then what is necessary. They don't even have working restrooms. They don't even provide water in those heavy conditions. Even more so when you get injured, they recommend you not go to the hospital just keep working. I nearly lost my finger cuss of a small cut. Black and blue swallon with pain throbbing thru my whole arm. I wasn't allowed to go to the hospital. This happened to me 3 times. I told them "I'm going to the hospital ill be back tomorrow cuss your not gonna fire me" if they did
