Services
Need a low-cost solution for counseling work with our associate clinicians. Only $50 per session. Associates are in graduate school or have already graduated and are training to become fully licensed counselors. Consider our monthly subscription if you need to put counseling into your budget for a few months.
I now offer online counseling for adult residents of Texas who are unable to travel to my office in Mcallen! I use a program very similar to Skype, called VSee. VSee has better privacy settings, which is important for a counseling setting. It functions just like the other programs. Sessions are still scheduled and last 50 minutes each, just like in person counseling.

I recommend this agency. My wife and I came here to work on our problems. I don't talk about these things but we needed help. If you are thinking about working on yourself or your relationship, don't wait. We had a good experience and received good service. Reading reviews, I read some negative ones. Counseling makes you take responsiblity for your issues and I think that is why some of the reviews are negative. Take a chance and make the call.

I unfortunately had a very bad experience. I'm the kind of person that hesitates to speak up when something bad happens to me but I think this is necessary, especially if you're trying to find a good counselor. We all know its unfortunately trial and error when it comes to finding the right person to be your counselor.

Do yourself a favor and look for other counseling places. Believe me if you have no insurance there is other places that are cheaper . If you do have insurance they will have you call and verify your benefits you would think they would know off hand if they cover or not. I made an appointment with them and got rescheduled 3 times because of “ personal issues “ or counselor is out. And they “ text “ you last minute. 3 times I have had to move my work schedule to try to work around theirs. I was able to find another counseling place that a more professional than this one.

Great place and great counselors. I took my son to several other places but their hours of operation never work with my schedule and he never seemed to get anything out of the appointments. With South Texas Counseling I don't have to take time off from work or stress about how to get my son to his appointments and I am seeing such a big difference with him! He really likes his counselor and feels comfortable talking with her about things that are bothering him. I highly recommend this place!
