Heel pain is the most common foot problem presenting in our office. It is often attributed to plantar fascitis. While most heel pain is responsive to conservative therapy including orthotics, strapping, physical therapy, NSAIDS, corticosteroid injections and rest, 10% of patients remain with pain. A PADnet+ is a diagnostic test that can provide early detection of P.A.D. The PADnet+ detects blockages in arteries and the quality of blood flow using pulse volume recordings and segmental blood pressure measurements. The results from this test will allow your doctor to determine the best treatment options.
We are able to achieve rapid fabrication because of our in-office computerized CAD-CAM orthotics, scanning and milling process. Here the foot is scanned into a computer while held in a corrected position (where the foot will need to function to relieve the painful condition). Prescription software corrections are then made as necessary.
