Green Tree Pharmacy

Green Tree Pharmacy is dedicated to providing a continuum of care with options to meet the identified needs of elder and/or infirm populations and to consistently deliver superior care in all we do. The key focus will continue to be the special needs of the long-term care resident. The staff at Green Tree is always helpful and professional.

Chuck brings over 30 years of experience in healthcare serving in various roles in pharmacy-related practice and leadership including 10 years of community pharmacy, home IV infusion, and 20 years of hospital pharmacy where he was a regional manager of Pharmacy Operations with OSF Healthcare in their Northern region.

Green Tree Pharmacy worked in conjunction with the Southern Illinois University College of Medicine's Endocrinology Department to develop a diabetes management program. This program has demonstrated a statistically significant decrease in hypoglycemia. We understand the potential for improved outcomes in other areas of geriatric medicine, and continue to explore additional ways to enhance the quality of life of our residents.

Green Tree Pharmacy has made a significant commitment to client satisfaction. We are participating in a corporate customer service initiative called H to O (Happy to Oblige). This involves training upon hiring and annual reviews. We also use a software program called Relias for annual training on corporate compliance and HIPAA for all our staff.

Green Tree Pharmacy typically utilizes the 30-day bingo medication card system, the most commonly used drug distribution system in long-term care. The multiple checks employed in our system provide for a high level of accuracy. Other distribution systems are available when required by the facility.
