One can be charged with operating a vehicle, boat, snowmobile or ATV while impaired by drugs or alcohol in Minnesota. Typically, charges come as a result of a breath, blood or urine test result of.08 or more or a positive test for a controlled substance. However, it is still possible to be charged with a DWI while testing less than.08.
Minnesota Statute Chapter 169 encompasses all traffic offenses in Minnesota. While the most common offenses are speeding, failing to stop at a semaphore or stop sign, equipment violations and other petty misdemeanor offenses, many people are surprised to learn that some traffic offenses are actually crimes and convictions may lead to jail time, fines and a criminal record.
I can't say enough about the overall professionalism both Robert and Dana brought to my experience. They were incredibly prompt, knowledgeable, and reassuring from the very beginning. I have referred several people to Kinsella and Foley Defense and will continue to do so as they were incredibly impressive and successful!
