Through counseling, people are empowered to experience strengthening and restoration within their lives and their relationships. Anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions and conflicted relationships are typical concerns people bring to my office to discuss. My approach is person-centered and solution-focused.
We work together to break down what impairs and inhibits functioning, while building up what invigorates and enhances well-being. Combining a person-centered approach with evidence-based treatment protocols provides the greatest opportunity for healing and growth within the counseling process.

Services
Although I make reasonable efforts to be available during business hours for phone calls and last minute appointments, I cannot be available at all times. I attempt to return phone calls in a timely manner, and strive to return all calls within 2 business days. If an emergency situation occurs for which you feel immediate attention is necessary, please go to the nearest Emergency Room or call 911.
My professional mission is to help people grow and strengthen their positive attributes, provide healing restoration where past injury has occurred, and to empower every client to find meaning, purpose and satisfaction in life. Confidentiality is of utmost importance in my practice. Every effort is made for privacy within the office setting.
People are often uncertain about what to expect in a counseling office, or from a counseling session. My office is located in downtown Ellensburg, in a building housing several business suites with entry from a common hallway.
Sessions are scheduled to be as convenient as possible, and people who are uncertain about coming in are free to request a brief screening and orientation to see how they feel about the office, and about me as a potential therapist.Counseling is an intensely personal process that can bring unpleasant memories or emotions to the surface.

I came to the Pacific Northwest from Minneapolis to attend the University of Puget Sound, where I was fortunate enough to be part of a year-long study abroad program that resulted in a bachelor's degree in Asian Studies. I completed my internship at Central Washington Comprehensive Mental Health, now known as Comprehensive Healthcare, and was hired immediately as a therapist.
