The Fence One Crew came out today to remove a wooden picket fence and replace with a vinyl fence. The quality of the material is great and the work theses 3 guys did all working quietly & diligently. They cleaned up all the scrap and even took away some leaves that were left after the fall cleanup. over all a very enjoyable experience and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Original fence was installed by two men, one who hit on me. The bottom were not secured correctly, and it is definitely not hurricane proof as advertised. It sways in the wind. I have had them come out once to fix it, and I think it was installed upside down. The handles are now upside down, and the doors continue to not shut correctly. I don't know if calling will do any good now, as I cannot remember if a lifetime warranty was offered.

Great job installing fence. I have had others install fencing for me before...the fence one crew was outstanding and did a great job. Extremely clean - surprising for a fence install! Giving it four stars as the sales process was very complicated. Errors on the quote, kept having to tell them to correct simple things (email address, amounts, etc) and like other reviews....no follow up after initial deposit. After two months, I called to ask for a update. At that point, was told that the price quote they gave me was off by $800. I don't think they were planning to ever call me after my initial

First of all that's all they do is fencing. A lot of the other companies try to do tree work, pavers, lawn mowing etc.
They have a number of crews and to say they work hard is an understatement. From taking down our old fence, to layout, to installing our new fence and hanging gates everything went smoothly and fast!
They are the only Activeyards dealer in this area and the fence they sell is clearly better than what the other fence companies are selling. On the vinyl privacy they have an interlocking picket

We reached out to Fence One as we were not having much luck with a company that would take our job as it wasn't a big job. Once the fencing was in, they were on time and finished the job over two days. The first day they handled the grading and the second day they came back and installed the fence and gate. We are very happy with their work. We will definitely use them again.

Fence One is unreliable and unprofessional. I signed a quote with them on March 1stto repair a chain link fence in my yard. I chose them because my dog keeps escaping and we needed to repair and add tension wire to stop it. They told me it was 2-3 weeks lead time. I even called them back to add more work to the job in early April, but they never sent the quote. I called a few times in April and even early May (at that point, we're way past 2-3 weeks) and every time there was a different excuse and another 'we'll get that done in 2-3 weeks' time. Meanwhile, my dog keeps escaping

AL and Patrick are very nice and try to help any way they can.... when you can get ahold of them. The receptionist and office people on the other hand are terrible at their job. Constantly had to chase them around to get the job going. Very unprofessional. If you just had to deal with AL and Patrick they would be a lot better but the receptionist alone makes this place not worth the hassle.

This is My 2nd time shopping there, and the staff are great, if you can't find what your looking for, Fence One in South Windsor is the Place to get all your fencing needs, So don't go to Home Depot or Lowes because you want to save money, remember you get what you pay for. Fence One materials is a better Quality and durable Product and you will leave there with everything you need , I did

Fence One was recommended by 2 neighbors who recently had fencing installed. Within a few weeks we had an estimate, a start date, and an installed fence. Al and Patrick were very professional, friendly, and easy to do business with. The crew did a great job with the install and clean up. The finished product looks great, we have privacy and our puppy has a secure area to bounce around. We would recommend Fence One.

I had a fence originally installed during the summer of 2013 - for that time period I would give the company 5 stars - they lived up to all they said they would do - and actually went above beyond to ensure the fence was completed by a specific date.
Fast forward to now. In November 2018 a section of my fence broke an fell down. I emailed pictures to the email address on the website asking for an estimate to repair the one section. No Answer.
After the first of the year I completed their online form stating that the fence was damaged and I would like an estimate to have it repaired. Filling

Zero communication in this company they took a month to start my fence job they did a shoty job trying to get them back to fix the problems was like pulling teeth and I hadn't paid them in full. I emailed them texted and talked to them on the phone they wanted to get paid but I wanted the fence correctly installed the gate the bottom was 3 inches off from the top the fence was crooked and the oner Al come out to look at it one day and turns to me and says " I should never take the small jobs" then looks at the problems and says to me "how do you want me to fix it"

Completely professional experience, beautiful installation, and top-notch owners and crew. Al and Patrick stand behind their work, and their price was competitive (and matched their online estimator). Fence-One installed white vinyl fencing calling ahead to schedule and showing up as promised. They used lots of poured in concrete, leveled everything out, even while dealing with some roots. They removed the old fence and even some additional scrap wood in the yard. I would recommend these guys without hesitation to anyone looking for a new fence.
