Preparing taxes yourself can be confusing. Even if you've done them for years, once you add new pieces to your life such as a spouse, child, home, etc., you can find yourself with more questions than you can handle. April has a passion for helping people and doing taxes, so don't worry.leave it all to her!
Employee business expenses $10 (as of 2018, this is only for reservists, performing artists, and fee-basis government officials). 1099-B (Capital Gains/Losses) starting at $35 and goes up depending on the number of trades as each one has to be entered (to keep the price down, have all of your purchase information too).
Some taxpayers work in a different state from their residency or have a spouse who works in a different state. Just moving during the year can also result in the need to file in multiple states. If you have a situation like one of these, or any other that results in the need to file in multiple states, April can definitely assist you.
If an error is found with your return that is my fault, I will file the amendment free of charge and pay up to $1,000 in interest and penalties that may be incurred as a result. I will NOT pay additional taxes owed as taxes are your responsibility either way. If an amendment is needed from no fault of mine, I will prepare it for a minimal fee of $30, unless a complete re-do is required, then my fee is $55.
What is it? It is the most comprehensive audit assistance available anywhere (for three years from the preparation of the return). They pay up to $2,500 in penalties, interest AND tax liability in the event of a legitimate preparer error. Also included is one year of IRS Identity Theft Restoration services for every person listed on the tax return!.
