Services
Southern Environmental Services (SES) was established in July of 2006 as a division of Southern Kentucky Maintenance, LLC. The original vision of SES was to provide Environmental Compliance and Management services to its parent company Keystops, LLC and it's agents. In 2006, SES consisted of two employees, compliance testing equipment and a one room office located at 419 Power Street in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Southern Environmental Services (SES) offers Underground Storage Tank (UST) Compliance Testing which includes all required release detection testing procedures. A failure to comply with local, state and federal requirements related to detection testing may result in written violations and monetary fines.
Southern Environmental Services provides 24-Hour Emergency Response Services for many types of environmental incidents. Since 2006, SES has been providing 24-hour, 365 days a year, environmental response coverage for transportation companies, petroleum facilities, convenience store, ust owners and state and federal entities, and industrial facilities.
Southern Environmental Services is a licensed Underground Storage Tank (UST) removal (closure) company. SES is licensed to remove underground storage tanks (USTs) in Kentucky, Tennessee and Indiana. We have removed hundreds of petroleum and chemical tanks efficiently, on schedule and on budget. For Closure of Aboveground Storage Tanks (ASTs), SES follows American Petroleum Institute (API) standards, to ensure safe and proper tank decommissioning.
SES has the resources to clean the underground storage tank, while keeping the tank in service. We utilize the Gorman Rupp "Tankleenor" in conjunction with a fuel filtering system in order to both clean the bottom of the tank and remove suspended contaminates from the fuel. SES also can provide a second method for a tank cleaning, provided the owner can take the tank out of service for half a day.
