At John Parkhurst State Farm, we have been a State Farm Agency serving our community for many years. We pride ourselves on SUPERIOR customer service and helping life go right. Our team consist of seven talented individuals that are excited to hear from you! John is married with one son and a new baby girl.
When he is not taking care of his customers, he enjoys coaching his son in sports and spending time outside with his family and friends. Growing up on a farm, he has learned to not only work hard, but truly care about the ones that provide for him, his family, and his team. Boat trailer safety includes choosing the proper trailer and towing vehicle, following proper hitching procedures, and learning safe driving techniques.

I have been a client of John’s for about two years at this point and honestly probably the best provider I have ever had for insurance. If you need insurance, he is the gentleman to speak with. I can’t say enough nice things of him and his business 🙌🏼

As cheesy as it sounds, John and his staff really do treat you like family. They make sure you're informed not only about your current policies, but also the possibilities. Haven't had to look at any other agency since I've joined. Cheers John!

I was pleased over the years with the quality of service they've provided. However recently there has been quite a few issues with my billing. Nobody seems to know exactly what's going on, (State Farm, or my agent's office) and nobody has a sufficient resolution to the problem besides me paying for a mistake made by the company. When the employees don't seem too confident or sure in what they are telling you, it's time to move on.

I moved from another insurance provider. They were decent service but more expensive than State Farm. John helped me review my home owners coverages as well as auto and recommended appropriate changes. This review netted me a small savings on home insurance but better coverage in the areas I needed it. My auto was a tremendous savings.
However, above all the personal experience with John as an Agent is what has sold me. Yes the savings in $$$ is great, but these days it's difficult to get good customer service. John has gone above and beyond, always responsive and willing to explain the details

So happy our Real Estate Agent referred us to John Parkhurst! He is absolutely amazing and on top of that he was able to save us hundreds of dollars on our insurance needs. John continues to go above and beyond! We are in the process of moving to Lexington and he has checked up on us numerous times to make sure everything is going ok. John Parkhurst and State Farm have not only been extremely helpful, friendly and easy to deal with but insured my vehicle for about half of what I had been paying. I generally make my payments online and their website is well organized and super easy to use. I highly recommend them, the service has been fantastic.

I signed up as a State Farm client under agent Brian Clark and received great service from him. Unfortunately, Brian Clark's level of service did not carry over when John Parkhurst inherited my account.
While his office staffers were always pleasant and helpful, Parkhurst himself was rude and condescending whenever I had to contact him. I put up with his ineptitude and overall poor service for several years because I figured it was inconvenient to have to open an account elsewhere.

John and his office are top notch, we have had nothing but great service. This is not a statement that is said about customer service in today's society, we have policies ranging from the basics of home and vehicle to rental dwellings and business. If you have had a claim you will know the importance of knowing your agent will have your interest at heart and stand beside thru the process, John is that guy!

I have had John as my agent for almost a year now, and I wish I would've switched sooner! He was always very thorough and was able to get me the best vwst coverage at a great price!
