I’m in the physical therapy rehab right now and it is AWESOME. If they had 5 star ratings for hospitals like they do for hotels this facility would be a 8. The staff is WONDERFUL, and the food is GREAT. They have a high staff to patient ratio so you get help right away. They are great at pain management also. You see your doctor every day and he sits down and LISTENS to you. My doctor is very interested in my problems and takes the time to listen to my concerns and suggestions about my care. The physical therapy and occupational therapy teams are also great. They work specifically on the problems

Our daughter just left Carrus and we are so glad we chose this place. The social workers (Dorothy and Natasha) were awesome and so was the nursing staff. Having never been thru this experience, I was afraid we would not be informed along the way. You can call anytime of day and talk to your kids nurse- they never made us feel like a bother. They share status and observations (if you have the secure code). The social workers were very open about the process. Staff called us before any medication for approval. I just felt like no one there held back information and that they wanted us to be 100%

I have called and left several messages with the admissions rep they kept transferring me to, Lisa Chapman trying to get basic info on the facility and admissions process. Zero call back. Went through their online process for interest and call back. Zero response. Guess they are doing so well they don't need new patients.

I spent two weeks at Carrus after double knee replacement. The facility was well maintained, food was excellent and the staff was so kind and courteous at all times. I really enjoyed the staff at OT and PT because they made getting better fun. And the nursing staff was heads up on pain control which made getting better easier. Highly recommend Carrus to anyone needing short or long term specialized care.

Normally I have respect for medical facilities and staff but Carrus is the exception. My wife worked there for over a year and never missed a day of work. She performed her duties without waver and always put her patients first. Up until the pandemic she was good with her job. But during this virus breakout Carrus showed their true colors. First it took management well over a year to finally give her raise which was only .24 cents that's how much they appreciated her hard work. They often would wait till she arrived at work only to send her home cheating her out of the overtime she already

The staff at this facility is amazing! They literally saved my father’s life twice. The first time, he had spent 4 months in two different ICUS and a LTAC in Dallas. All of those facilities continuously told me my father was going to die or best case scenario be in a nursing home the rest of his life. Literally within 4 days of being at Carrus, the staff got him from being ventilator dependent, unable to talk, eat, walk, sit up or even roll over to weaned from ventilator, talking, eating, sitting up and even walking. Within a month he was home and is doing amazing! All of the staff we encountered

I’m honestly amazed that this place hasn’t been shut down yet. My girlfriend used to be a Tech / Health Unit Coordinator and before she resigned she used to come home with so many horror stories of how the management was not doing anything to help the patients, or only do just enough to keep people from complaining. A coworker of her’s was left to tend the patients alone one night, which is against procedure and safety protocols, and the coworker was nearly beaten to death by a patient. The woman suffered a concussion, a few of her fingers were broken and she sprained her elbow. What did

My 81 year old mother was brought here from TMC after being diagnosed with multiple myeloma and amyloidosis al for rehab to see if she could regain her strength to possibly have treatments done for her illnesses. The nursing staff,OT and physical therapy staff along with the cafeteria, EVS and patient assistants have all been great however their nurse practioner and GI specialist on staff DR Young were the rudest people I have ever encountered. They treated my mother with no compassion and no respect. One nurse also was rude as a whole I would not recommend this facility.

My very first time in a rehabilitation center after being diagnosed with an infection in my back spine fluid. I don’t regret choosing carrus. The facility is clean and the nurses are very understanding and respectful. They have amazing therapist. They helped me 100 percent of the way. They are incuraging and have positive attitudes. Everything I needed was done right away from day one. They took very good care of me. From switching my mattress to an air mattress to getting all my utensils and my everyday equipment I used daily. The food was great and if i ever got hungry throughout the day they
