Frontier Day - Held on the first Saturday of October, Frontier Day celebrates the founding members of the city. Butterfly Festival - Next to last weekend in June, honors the multitudes of butterflies (both rare and nonrare) found in the bluff region of Mount Magazine, founded in 1997.
This initiative for the festival was spearheaded by June Gilbreath (fundraising and awareness) after the discovery of a rare species of butterfly - the Diana fritillary butterfly (discovered by Gary Noel Ross, PhD lepidopterist) - that was previously thought to be extinct, but is found in abundance on the mountain summit. The species has since been designated as the official state butterfly of Arkansas.

Pretty Rude. I was inquiring about a place and I have a certified ESA dog to help accompany my disability and they told me he isn’t welcome this is pretty much against ADA laws and they can get in huge trouble. They said service dogs aren’t even welcome I’m pretty such that’s discrimination and I will be happy to report them.

In the middle of the night the front desk calls and tells me I had to move my vehicle over into the parking space right in front of my door to my room. When I checked in no one said anything about assigned parking. When I arrived someone was parked in that spot. Some of the parking spots have very tiny numbers on them, but not all. This was clearly Harassing on managements part.

The rooms are nice and roomy equipped with a mini fridge and microwave. The AC didn't get very cold and despite having toiletries in their room description, non where provided. There was no hair dryer either. However, the lady at the front desk was quick to loaned me one. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. If you leave your door open for any length of time the room fills up with flies, quickly! Unsure as to why as there is no trash or odors. The parking lot is large, well kept and clean of trash. This Inn sits an the edge of town and is quite. As we were on a motorcycle, the lady

We were last minute looking for a place for the night. The were very nice and held a room for us. It's older, but recently remodeled. Small, clean, quiet, & the police station is right next door. My only complaint would be the A/C wasn't great. It was cool but we ended up going to Walmart to get a fan.

Well my sister stayed here, and I'm less than impressed. I came to visit my sister and niece and the person at the front desk watched me walk in the room then IMMEDIATELY called and told my sister visitors weren't allowed. (When LAST time she stayed there was no issue... less than 6months ago). Because I didn't jump up and LEAVE immediately the front desk called AGAIN to tell her. But they have no issue with crackheads staying there, or not to mention less than a month ago there were like 4 police officers there. But god forbid I visit my family for 30 minutes while they stay there.

Friendly, and clean. Everything in the room worked. The A/C was very good, just like anyone motel you have to turn it on and let the room cool for a while as they aren't going to keep them running while the room is empty. The towels were clean and dry and the shower never got cold while I took a shower. The TV worked nicely with cable plus mini fridge. No real blankets just sheets my only downside. But for the value and and location to Magazine Mountain it can't be beat. The family seems to work extremely hard to keep the place in order. Would recommend and be back!

The blankets were paper thin, the room didn't have a coffee pot, and then air conditioner struggled to keep the room comfortable. The manager was very rude, we asked for some towels because the ones we had used were wet, the manager refused and said the laundry was closed. I had to go buy new towels. I talked to a couple of other people there and they weren't very pleased either. Pretty much zero hospitality.
