Holy Cross High School was founded in 1984. Preceded by the all female Angela Merici High School and the all male Bishop David High School, Holy Cross joins the best of these traditions in a Catholic Coeducational high school, the only one of its kind in Jefferson County. The school occupies twenty-three acres of land at 5144 Dixie Highway in southwest Jefferson County.
The Holy Cross Annual Fund is the most important fundraising effort of the year, as it bridges the gap between our operational expenses necessary to educate our students that are not covered by tuition alone. Every gift, regardless of size is important! Every donor makes a difference! Please consider a donation at whatever level you are able to contribute.
One of the greatest legacies we can leave in the world is the gift of an education. We here at Holy Cross believe that every family who desires a Catholic Education for their child should have the opportunity to receive it. We believe that Catholic Education should not just be for the affluent. This gift should be possible for the middle class and those in poverty.
In the 2020-2021 school year, 68% of our families qualified for financial aid totaling over $3 million dollars in need. Our scholarships and merit opportunities are just one way to help bridge the gap for our families. Renewable for four years to students who make the Principal's List or Maroon List Honor Roll each quarter and perform 10 hours of service to Holy Cross and/or their parish.
Deferred or planned gifts - including bequests, life-income plans, life insurance, and other options for your estate - can help you combine your interest in making an ultimate gift to Holy Cross while increasing your income, earning valuable income-tax deductions, and reducing your estate taxes. Holy Cross is a private, Catholic co-ed high school.

I've only come here for fundraisers and sporting events but the facility is clean and orderly, albeit a bit dated. It's well taken care of so I think it's awesome that an older building with deep roots in the community has been maintained.
This is one of two co-educational Catholic high schools in the Commonwealth.
The students and staff are generally helpful and friendly when you attend things here and everyone seems to know each other. It's like being at Cheers, but for families.
It's NOT in humanity's best interest that I have children but if I were to
