Joe began his in-home sales career selling residential solar systems in the greater Los Angeles area of California. In 1986, he transitioned to the in-home selling of home improvement products; windows, doors, siding, and roofing. In 1993, he opened his own company - American Design and Build, Ltd. that has been ranked as one of the Top 500 remodeling companies in the country.
2009 was the rebirth of residential solar and we established our solar division - American Sentry Solar. As owner and CEO, Joe is immersed in the overseeing of the day-to-day activities of the company and the monitoring of company performance as we strive for continued success. It was quite a pleasure working with American Sentry for the installment of my solar project. Jerry Hopp was well informed when describing the benefits of going solar. It was great to learn the company was proactive at completing paperwork to assist buyers in obtaining all possible incentives. The team as a whole was always pleasant during all interactions. The installment process went quite quickly as soon as all necessary paperwork was filed through BGE, taking less time than initially proposed. I believe I receive quite a competitive price after comparing several companies. I am still adjusting

I am extremely pleased with American Sentry Solar. So far, the whole process of going solar has been great. I have a GREAT experience with American Sentry Solar! Brad was very detailed and went over a few options with us. The install was painless and quick, and they covered all of the permits, scheduling, etc. I opted to get most of the panels on my shed and they worked with my ideas. I had 3 quotes and went with American Sentry Solar based on a friends recommendation and the meeting with Brad. Thanks!

We have looked around for years for "the" solar company to use once we purchased a home and we found it. American Sentry Solar was far and beyond the best service, price and quality work we were looking for. We dealt with many others before and nothing came close.

Make sure to get several quotes. They seem to cost a lot more than others in my experience (making it for me ~20 Years financed/~12 years cash to break even after incentives using the assumption the panels will produce on the high end), although it is a good product they use. It is also difficult to get a quote and they make you sit through a presentation over an hour long wanting you to make a decision same day.
Good company's will provide all information needed on a quote and allow you to do your own research to make a decision.
