Services
The mission of CPC is to provide hope and direction to those experiencing life difficulties in a manner that reflects God's love and grace. Christian Psychological Center (CPC) was founded in 1977 as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization to provide psychological care in Memphis and to the greater mid-south community.

There are times when one can benefit from the guidance and perspective individual counseling provides. It can be helpful in addressing a variety of challenging life circumstances.
We are committed to helping children, teens, and families through transitions, difficult life events, and emotional, behavioral, academic or social struggles. Many parents ask, "How do I know when my child needs mental health services?" Often it is when a significant change in the child's functioning is apparent.
The ECC is a very specific consultation appointment designed to address the needs of young children ages 2-6 that have not completed kindergarten. This particular appointment is separate from a traditional counseling appointment. The ECC is a one-day visit involving parents and the child. Prior to this appointment input from teachers is included.
Family Counseling provides an opportunity for family members to discuss their concerns in a setting where they can honestly express their thoughts and feelings. Individuals are encouraged to work together to accomplish goals for the good of the family.
Family members may display some of the attitudes and/or communication patterns which make cooperation difficult, and the counselor will point out the patterns which may keep the family from reaching their potential.Family members are encouraged to look at their roles in the family's functioning and to respond differently.

The years I was visiting Christian Psychological Center I was treated with respect. My therapist Jane Anderson was very compassionate and caring. She was very pleasant to talk too. The staff always treated me with respect. I was very sad when my insurance changed and had to let go of their services due to insurance issues. I recommend Christian Psychological Center to anyone in need of a compassionate and safe place to be.

My cell and family members have use the services of Christian psychological multiple times over a period of more than 10 years. Obviously we are pleased as we have returned when needed. I appreciate that on their website you're able to read about the different counselors available and choose the one that you feel is most suited to you and your needs.

This counseling center is very helpful and flexible. In order to make an initial appointment, you can fill out the online intake form then they will give you a call to make an appointment. The counselors we’ve dealt with have handled our problems with care and have helped us walk through some difficult times. I highly recommend this place for children and adults alike.
