The mission of the Twin Towers Orphan Fund is to provide higher educational assistance and mental healthcare assistance for (a) children who lost parents in the World Trade Center, at the Pentagon, or onboard the four downed airliners, and (b) children of victims of future terrorist attacks. Our mission is to mitigate, as much as possible, the damage done to the children due to the loss of a parent.
We do this by providing assistance for higher education and mental health services. Rebuilding futures, one child at a time: More than a declaration or tagline, these words represent a clear, strong and powerful focus. They not only reflect the determination the Children's Fund of America has in continuing to fulfill its mission, but also the conviction of its successes.
