From Joan who greets everyone who calls/visits, to our sales account team and sales coordination/customer service team. If we totaled all the years of industry experience at Amherst Label, it would be an impressive number in the hundreds.
Amherst Label continues to grow as a family-owned and operated New Hampshire label printer, with family as our foundation. The company was founded in 1978 by Nicholas Calvetti, a highly successful sales person and longtime service-oriented entrepreneur (pictured below far left). Within two years, business was booming and Nick Senior asked his son Nick to join the firm.
Amherst Label has a "Vivid Vision, " or "Painted Picture" for the future. It is centered on our "WHY, " our reason for being, our purpose. Our "WHY" is "We Help You." The acronym was coined the day our company president Nye Hornor expressed his hopes and dreams for the people of Amherst Label, and for customers who count on us to help build YOUR dreams.
The two-part IRC construction allows you to use 4-color process or vibrant spot colors on the front of the coupon to catch the consumers' attention, and additional information on the reverse side, including details, legal requirements, expiration dates, etc. An IRC can be discreet or obvious, depending on your intentions.

If you want a caring, personal experience with your labeling needs Amherst Label is the business to go with. Amherst Label made high quality waterproof stickers in honor of sweet 11 year Sarah who recently passed away from leukemia. Not only did Amherst Label produce these amazing professional stickers in a timely fashion but they also showed empathy for this delicate, unfortunate situation and personally donated them at no cost to Sarah’s fundraising foundation. If I could give Amherst Label more than 5 stars I would. Incredible product, incredible business to work with.

Berkshire Mountain Distillers in Sheffield, Mass., had a very positive experience working with Amherst Label. They were quick to respond to a printing issue and really came through in the end with a personal delivery to make our production needs work. Due to covid I was having a last minute wedding. My wife and I fell in love with the idea of having custom wine labels made for favors to give to guests. I reached out to Amherst Label 2 days before the wedding and I was transferred to Nicholas.
Nicholas provided me with out of this world customer service and went well above and beyond to help me out. Nicholas provided me with the resources needed to get the labels to me within 24 hours! Incredible company with a well-organized team. Typically I find that "necessity companies" like label printers tend to forego focus on customer service, but this couldn't be further from the truth with Amherst Label. At pretty much every turn Nicholas and Andrea have done whatever they've needed to do to make sure we get our labels on time and the print quality is always spectacular. They're very responsive, have great pricing, and are perfectly reliable. I'm so glad we switched to using them.
