Life's challenges can feel dark, heavy, or even impossible to deal with. Many people who start therapy feel stuck repeating the same painful patterns. Perhaps you can relate. Maybe you're noticing that you complain a lot about feeling stressed, tired, and unfulfilled or you know you'd be happier if you made changes but it feels safer and more comfortable to stay the same.
It's totally normal to be nervous about starting therapy. It can be scary to think of opening up or crying in front of someone new, perhaps fearing that it will be awkward and uncomfortable. The fear around that can feel overwhelming. It takes courage to start going to therapy.
