My go-to Dermatologist is Dr. Brown. She is very professional, detail oriented, thorough and incredibly easy to talk to about any subject I happen to broach. I travel 335 miles from the South Carolina Western Upstate, a 4hour & 45 minute trip, to maintain the type of care she and her staff provide in both Blacksburg & Roanoke, VA.

Every member of the staff that I encountered on my visit at River Ridge Dermatology (from the front desk, to the nursing assistant, to Dr. Garofalo) was incredibly nice! Dr. Garofalo was very personable, putting me instantly at ease. My exam was thorough and the four biopsies and freezing procedure were the most pain free I have ever experienced at a dermatologist. Love them!

The office staff were extremely polite and friendly. The nurse was kind, polite, and had a great personality and bedside manner. Physician Seth Morgan was thorough but fast and explained everything in a manner that was easy to understand and established an action plan that was considerate of cost and complicity for a busy Mama. I will definitely return and refer friends and family.

Emily was my esthetician. She was very professional, knowledgeable, and so kind. She gave me exactly what I asked for and went out of her way to make me feel comfortable. Emily also made sure I had everything I needed for post care. I am so happy and will be back. I really wish i could tip to show my appreciation.

Overall, good first experience. Clean and spacious waiting room, kind front staff. All interactions with staff was positive. Only critique was the speed of the appointment, it lasted easily less than 10 minutes — and coming from a smaller dermatology practice out of state, this appointment did not seem as thorough. Although I do trust the staff and hope that if something had seemed to need more time, then it would have been given. Would come back and compare another appointment to the first.

I received laser hair removal here before and it worked with the older aesthetician
I received laser hair removal here last week- and there is hair still on my face and under arm.
When I spoke to the aesthetician- she was very dismissive and told me I would need to pay for another round.
I spent close to $300 totally waste.
I've never had a bad experience here with the dermatologist- my entire family has been seen here.
The customer service I experienced today was unacceptable.
Will only go here for dermatologist appointments.

I was just refused medical service because I would not sign their terms of service which included a $50 cancellation fee without reference to acts of God and a collection policy without access to arbitration even if the collection agency is harassing me. The business manager who made the decision not to allow me to see the doctor stated that it would not be fair to the other patients if he accepted my annotations. I pointed out they were reasonable requests But he was absolute in his demand that his form be accepted Before I could access the medical service. This practice is becoming a business
