I love this place! Very charming and atmospheric. Love the Hollywood theme. The room was nice and clean. Mike was VERY accommodating when I needed to extend my stay, and was kind and professional throughout. I highly recommend this place!

I couldn't pick no stars therefore this dump gets 1 star by default.
I checked in and checked right out. Seriously this place shouldn't be open for business. The paint on the walls is peeling, the furniture is old and run downed, the room smells of cigarettes and old carpet. The bathroom is absolutely horrendous.

I knew this motel will be an experience but I didn't know it was going to be that bad. Upon entering the room I had to kill two roaches. I tried to touch as little in the room as possible and used hand sanitizer every 30 min. My shoes and all bags had to go on the second bed because I didn't want to bring roaches home after staying at this motel. Come morning, I was outta there asap. Avoid at all cost!

This is the nastiest motel you will ever stay in. My kid pulled a used tampon from between the box spring and there was blood in between the sheets. When I brought it to the attention of "management " they said I should leave (without a refund). I had to threatened them to change the sheets. The people in charge are a team of crackheads and you can smell it on their clothes. Preserve the health and sanity of your family and do not stay here. I would not wish this experience on my worst enemy, you have been warned.

Welp, desperate times call for desperate measures & I struck rock bottom for this gem. For starters I pulled and was greeted with 2 cop cars pulled up, an aggressive front desk woman and her detest of me only having my passport.

Even after the "delightful" registering and listening to a list of rules to be strictly kept I tried to find some good. I stayed in the Gary Cooper room which only had a picture of him over the bed. So here is a breakdown of the Good, Bad & Ugly:

GOOD: Safety is somewhat good with having to phone your way onto the property. I didn't find any bedbugs

This place should be rated higher! No its not the Hilton, but that's the whole point. The accommodations are by far the nicest you can find on Federal Highway near downtown Lake Worth. My room was clean and well kept during our entire stay. A great value for the price and location. Plus, it has a cool little restaurant attached with good/affordable food. The decor is retro cool and Mike the owner is super friendly and gracious. I'll be back.

The Pros: It was cheap and the room appeared to be very clean. It was a little cold out when we were there and only for one night so we didn't hit up the pool but it looked nice. Also, another reviewer said the other guests looked like ex-cons and druggies... we did not find this to be true. There was no loudness going on at night and everyone appeared normal. The food from the kitchen smelled good but didn't try it.

The Cons: The beds were what you'd expect from a motel. The sheets were clean but if they'd replace them with new ones, I'd have liked it a bit more. The

First, the good. New Sun Gate is fairly close to downtown, a 20 minute walk. Lake Worth is a pretty neat city, and even the area around the motel is quaint. The municipal beach is a 15 minute drive and for a public beach was well-kept with pleasant people. The manager was very nice. He cooks breakfast every morning for the guests for a small fee. He also helped us out with directions. Now to the rest.

One of the few indications you're staying at the "Motel of the Stars" is the classic Hollywood celebrity written on your room's door - there wasn't even a picture of the

Only stayed a couple nights on a two-stop trip, but New Sun Gate was a great place to stay in that time. Rooms were large and clean, and the pool was convenient and open late. We didn't avail ourselves of the $3 breakfast, but it was nice to have the option for such a reasonable price. It was located close -- a short drive or healthy walk-- to downtown Palm Beach, and to the causeway over to the shore.

I managed to forget my computer in the drawer, I realized a couple days after having checked out (but fortunately before boarding a plane). Mike, the very friendly owner, set it aside for
