The gift shop should not be missed for its great Navajo and other unusual jewelry. The owner had just returned from her trip out buying the jewelry so the pickings' were great. Cheaper than the other shops on the Main Street of Torrey. Our friendly Chuck-wagon style dining and outdoor atmosphere around the fire pit is a great way to enjoy Chef Peter's delicious char-grilled and smoked food.
Pull into our RV Park, take out your camp chairs and enjoy our beautiful red rock views! We have spacious, level, 65-foot long by 30-foot wide pull-through sites for your big rig as well as back-in sites. All RV sites have shade trees, picnic tables, fire pits and great views of Thousand Lakes Mountain and Boulder Mountain.
Our tent sites are shady with windbreaks, picnic tables and fire pits. They are located in a separate area from the RV sites, close to the swimming pool, restrooms, laundry and showers. The nearby covered pavilion with picnic tables provides a nice shelter in rainy weather. All reservations are confirmed by using your credit card information at the time of booking.
We have stayed here many times while exploring the Burr Trail. We usually rent one of the basic cabins. The staff here is always helpful and friendly. I always have a blast in Torrey and Thousand Lakes is a great place to stay. Plus its close to Cafe Diablo, a walk down the highway. Great food near by and beautiful surroundings make Thousand Lakes my favorite place to visit.

This is a beautiful place, but I will never camp here again. This place is built for the elderly and not catered at all to young families. Constantly were bieng harrased by camp hosts, keep in mind we were not blatantly disobeying camp rules. They just did not want our young family there. Not to mention that our son was cursed out by the camp janitor. -come for the views don't stay here!

While these little tent sites don’t seem like much at first, you quickly see why this campground is so great. First you have a wonderful view surrounding the grounds. Then you have the delicious smells of the on-site bbq joint. Pair that with a close walk to clean bathrooms, general store, pool, and lush green field, it’s a wonderful place to camp with the family while heading into the National park.
