One of the best authentic Mexican restaurant I have been to. The food takes little time to come out but it's because they make it fresh unlike the big chain restaurants' frozen and then oven heated food.

I have had numerous edible meals here over the years. Some have been good, none have been bad, none have been excellent.

However when I went there yesterday I was greeted with a sign informing me that chips and salsa are no longer complimentary, and if you want them it's a $3.50 charge.

I won't be returning to this restaurant.

Chicken tacos were really salty. Bistec tacos were ok. Sent me straight to the bathroom after usually I don’t get like that even when I eat Taco Bell. Idk what they put in them tacos.

DON'T GO HERE. Horrible service, not clean (table was dirty and the didn't wipe it down after a family just got up) mediocre food, messed up orders and inconsistent. The management and owners could care less. Have more pride in your restaurant. Also $5 for CHIP & SALSA!!!

We waited one hour for our food (which would have been fine if the food would have been outstanding!!) The food was authentic but low quality. Some of the meat in the taco was crunchy from overcooking. Not what we were expecting. We love authentic Mexican food. I read in a review someone stated that the tortillas are homemade here (THEY ARE NOT!!). The food is decent but not worth the price they charge. It was kinda a depressing place inside.

Stopped here on the way home from a long weekend in the mountains. Got a carne asada burrito and the meat was so tough I couldn't eat any of it. The beans were good though.

I tried the Tacos, it worth it so far. They were huge and homemade tortillas soo delicious. I'll try something different next time, Dishes looks good at a reasonable price.

A friend and I went here today after our golf tournament. I have to say I had one of the best tostada salads I've had in ages! I ordered it with chili Verde which was so tender and flavorful I could not believe it. Their special dressing that they toss the lettuce tomatoes and cheese in is very tasty and has a lot of flavor, add that to beans and a tortilla on the bottom and you have a bomb of a salad! My friend had the Nopalitos and eggs which she said was very tasty too!!!

Top off a great meal with good service and you can't beat this little gem in Angels Camp.

Cool spot would definitely try again we went shortly after things started to open for dine in and right when they opened but staff was friendly and the food was very tasty

This place is just Amazing, flavors just blew my and my families mind. Even ordered extra for later.

This place has such good Mexican food. Just like we got when I was a kid. Great service as well. We definitely will be coming back often. thank you for the delicious food.

I stopped here with my family on our way home from our snow trip. The customer service was great and the food was even better! They even have special cups for kids which I really took note of.. Definitely would recommend this place if you want great service and great Mexican food

We just ordered 2 chicken burritos to go & they were excellent! I added rice, sour cream & guacamole so they were over-the-top filling. We'll definitely be back!

We came here during COVID, the social distancing and cleanliness was perfect. They even sanitize the menu, chairs and everything. The food was wonderful, we enjoyed our giants burritos. Also they were friendly and quick.

Will definitely be back! Portions were large, sauces spicy, and the nachos are some of the best we've had in recent memory. Great prices. Also some updated menu pics attached to the review - they do not have all of the items on the web site, so it's best to call in your order.

I come down here from the Bay Area a lot and without a doubt I knew this place wasn't going to sell authentic Mexican food judging by the area and those I saw dinning in at the time. After months of being recommended by locals that I'd get a promising authentic meal here. I'm Mexican so I wanted to support the restaurant and I gave the place a try and did nothing but prove myself right about the food.

The food is very basic white people Mexican food. Sometimes I like that style but this was very underwhelming. The taco Tuesdays were OK and the beans are decent . The employees were super nice. Here's a Mexican food tip . If you go into a Mexican restaurant and it's only old white people in their 70s the food is going to be very bland. Also this place is kind of expensive. I only went here because my regular place angels kitchen was closed . My burrito tasted like I made it at home with Walmart ingredients .

It made me feel like I was in Mexico again. Great prices and really good food. Definitely a hole in the wall!!

Food was tasty. Price was reasonable enough things for me to switch around to eat. The vibe of the restaurant was decent. The service was prompt. I would go back again.
