The primary mission of Polemic Dance & Fitness Studio is to provide a safe and comfortable environment for anyone interested in learning pole. We focus mainly on the fitness and acrobatic aspects of the sport, but encourage students to blend their pole artistry with other forms of dance. Polemic instructors are delighted to teach people of all body types, genders, orientations, and most ages.
Industry dancers and instructors from other studios are very welcome here! The studio is led by advanced instructor and owner, Aine, who has been teaching pole since 2006 and has an extensive background in personal training and gymnastics. Polemic Dance & Fitness Studio represents the continuing evolution of Brassy Butterfly LLC, which was founded in 2006 by ine Inkk and partners to cater to pole enthusiasts of the Portland and Eugene areas.

Started taking Polemic Dance this month and have fallen madly in love with the dance, art and instructors. Aine, the owner, is absolutely beautiful inside and out and I feel so honored to have her for a teacher. I had Molly as a teacher as well and was blown away by her beauty and grace. I am so excited to share this space with all these amazing women. I look forward to taking more classes in this art and with these instructors.

Love this studio!!!! I’ve taken classes led by Aine, Nicci, and Kat and they’re all friendly, supportive, and talented teachers. There are classes for all levels, and the instructors will work with you wherever you’re at. I’ve had so much fun, gotten a great workout, and built up more confidence. Try it out!
