Dr. Colibazzi is a board-certified psychiatrist (American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or ABPN) with expertise in psychopharmacology and various types of individual psychotherapy, couples therapy and sex therapy. Dr. Colibazzi is Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Columbia University and he is affiliated with New York Presbyterian Hospital and the New York State Psychiatric Institute.
Dr. Colibazzi is also trained as a psychoanalyst and certified by the American Board of Psychoanalysis (ABPsa). As in anything that matters, it is important to choose wisely when it comes to mental health. Psychiatrists have received extensive medical and psychiatric training (this combined training usually spans almost a decade) and they function both as therapists and as physicians.

Dr. Colibazzi received his medical degree (M.D.) from the Catholic University of Rome, Italy. After working for the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), he went on to train in Psychiatry at Northwestern University in Chicago, where he served as Chief Resident. He later moved to Columbia University and completed a clinical research fellowship in mood and anxiety disorders.
Dr. Colibazzi has expertise in psychopharmacology and has been involved in training and supervising other mental health professionals at Columbia University, providing diagnostic and treatment consultations. Furthermore, Dr. Colibazzi is a trained psychoanalyst and sex therapist. He is involved in academic research and strives to incorporate state-of-the art knowledge into his practice.

In addition to business hours, evening and weekend appointments are available. Dr. Colibazzi's practice has offices in both Manhattan and Brooklyn. The Manhattan office is conveniently located just opposite Grand Central Station, in the Chanin Building, on 42nd street.

Dr. Tiziano is an amazing doctor. Not only because of his medical education, knowledge and expertise. But more importantly, because of the level of empathy and opportunity he affords patients to participate in their care plan.
I have not met a practitioner in this field with such a genuine interest in my participation. In addition to his very kind demeanor.
Although, it may be difficult to consider his care because he take NO insurance. He spends an extensive amount of time in his initial consult. Then when you mutually agree to work together, his attention and care goes beyond the 9-5 timeframe
