I'm actually the husband posting this review, and am a fairly accomplished handyman in my own right. So my standards are very high, and I'm please to say Pete and his crew more than lived up to the high bar I set for them! The job was a total renovation of a very large kitchen with quality Kraft Made cabinets, entailing new drawer fronts, and refinishing rather than putting veneer on the cabinets. Pete is easy to work with, and we agreed on a price that was substantially below prices quoted by Home Depot and one other refinishing company. So much to share about our experience! We decided to get cabinet doors and drawers replaced and were assured that all drawer fronts would come off easily. Well that wasn’t the case so there was an additional cost that we didn’t anticipate. The mess during the 5 day process was unbelievable. I had to clean up after them every day to be able to just WALK into the kitchen. Even after the job there was glue, dust, and a very sloppy paint job that we now have to redo.I called the owner and got little satisfaction about my concerns. We had tired maple cabinets that had worn through the light white wash finish around many of the handles. My wife likes these cabinets and the light color so I looked around for a company to refinish them. Not easy to find someone who will take the original cabinets, strip them, and then refinish TO MATCH existing cabinets. We got some crazy prices and recommendations to just paint the cabinets. Our kitchen cabinets were almost 50 years old and in very bad shape.
