A family-operated custom cabinetry manufacturer that has been catering to the needs of builders, architects, designers and homeowners, since it was founded by its current owner, David Dorrer Sr. in 1978. The exceptional craftsmanship of Scandia Kitchens personalized custom cabinetry equals that found in fine furniture using only select grades of wood, superior finishes and a profound attention to detail.
First step is to contact us for your custom cabinet needs. Some of the rooms that we frequently build cabinets for are the kitchen, bathroom, mudroom, library, TV cabinet/built- in's or mantle projects. Once you contact us we will set up a time for you to visit our showroom to meet with one of our consultants.
We have "Green" cabinets now available to our environmentally friendly customers. We are one of the first manufacturing companies in Massachusetts to offer renewable products finished with top quality water based finish that contains no hazardous air pollutants or added chemicals. We build all of our green cabinets with certified no formaldehyde added plywood.
For many, many weeks now, Barbara and I have been talking about our life in our new Scandia-built kitchen. We are so happy with the final product that you professionally designed, built, and installed. This kitchen is truly beyond our initial plans and dreams. Without question, our decision to do business with you was one of the best we made in this complicated process.
How much is it going to cost for a kitchen design? There is no charge. However the design will not be released until a contract has been signed and deposit received. How long does it take to get your cabinets? Every cabinet is built to order so it may vary depending on amount of orders in house. Please allow approximately 8-10 weeks from the time you sign a contract and final measurements have been taken.

We renovated our kitchen in 2004 and Scandia designers and built the cabinets. Did a GREAT job. Quality work done on time. Fast forward 14 years and an undercounted fridge with custom cabinet breaks. I called Scandia really only to ask reception. If they knew someone who might be willing to match one panel for us. Got a call back from the owner (who remembered me!) and he said they would do the panel no problem. It was fantastic to work with someone who stands by their product like this.
