Mindy McVay, ASID, founded her full-service design firm in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with her philosophy "real life-real style." Mindy's keen eye for the unexpected adds individuality to her designs. With over three decades of interior design experience, she has developed a deep intuition about people and will fully understand her clients' spirit and needs before attempting to design a space that best fits them.
Mindy's career has spanned more than 3 decades of interior design, collaborating with architects, contractors and craftspeople within a full spectrum of budgets. Many of her projects are located in Myrtle Beach SC, Charleston SC, Pawleys Island SC and along the East Coast. Her extensive experience includes management of every aspect of projects from original concept through completion.
I have worked with Mindy on decorating projects for both of my homes on the intercoastal waterway and on Pawleys Island's creek. Both times we discuss my visions that emphasized water views and with her knowledge, experience, and talent created a design to perfection. I strongly recommend Mindy McVay Abney as the go- to designer in our area.

I was really impressed with what Mindy could do with such a small bathroom. Even though it is a master bathroom, there was no shower originally built in. My job necessitated going into the closet for shower space but nothing suffered! I ended up with a nice, calm, monochromatic bathroom I could actually enjoy spending some time in. Great soak tub...nice job Mindy!
