Consignment shopping was an entirely new concept when Repeat Boutique opened its doors in Knoxville during the summer of 1977, under the vision of owner, Ruth Perry. A Native Knoxvillian and enterprising housewife, Ruth desired to provide a place for women to make the best use of their money with regard to fashion.
Ladies apparel only. Current styles, usually within the past 2-3 years. All merchandise must be CLEAN, PRESSED, AND ON HANGERS. We usually have bundles of hangers for your convenience. Please pick up hangers prior to bringing merchandise. A minimum of 5 ACCEPTABLE items (not including accessories) are required to open an account.

With the stores slowly starting to open back up, my daughter and I thought that we would do a little shopping. We thought that we would support some the small local businesses that were open today.
We spent the morning shopping, just enjoying that we were out of the house and not at work. We ended up at a store called Repeat Boutique off of Kingston Pike here in Knoxville, TN. Honestly, it is a cute little store, but what happened today just absolutely disgusted me. I walked around the store oblivious while browsing. My daughter on the other hand noticed that the older sales ladies that worked

One of the Best Clothing Resale Stores in Knoxville! I was referred there by my S.A.s at my Talbot's Store! The items in the store are far superior to any shop of it's kind I've ever been in! All clothing is super clean, pressed & hung in attractive ways throughout the store! Their assessories all look new, especially the jewelry! The prices are shockingly low priced for High Quality name brands! They will set up an account for you when you bring items in to sell! They are strict about what they will take, but extremely fair! We went in while they were having a tag sale, not sure if this is a common thing, but nevertheless one was going on when we walked in. One woman told us green tags were 75% off at one end of the boutique so we started our search with that color in mind. My girls both need summer clothes and my oldest is between a 0 and 1 so finding clothes that fit and are appropriate becomes a challenge. After an exhaustive hunt they found three items they liked all with green tags. The woman at the counter to check out was different from the original lady that we spoke to, but was carrying on a very pleasant

Love the selection of clothing here and the prices but customer service needs work. I have shopped here at least a dozen times and have never been greeted upon entering the store. You have to go out of your way to get help or get a fitting room. I rarely shop here anymore because there are consignment shops with much better service in Knoxville.

I went in two days ago passing through the area because I love consignment stores and the reviews were great. When I walked in there were a few customers but they were not busy. No one spoke as I walked around. I looked for over 30 minutes trying to match up the colored tags on the clothing to what was posted as their sale items. I only saw one color of red so I assumed that was the red on sale as I picked up several items. I then made my way over to the other side where people bring in their items and I heard the lady behind the counter telling a lady that they would not accept her cheap costume

This store has a good item selection, although for consigned items they can be on the pricey side. I do feel that sometimes the employees can judge customers based on their appearance so I have not returned since my last visit in October. Also, I feel as if they are closed, they should turn their sign to closed and lock the door. I have no problem with leaving before closing time, but it is disappointing to walk in when it says “open” and the doors are unlocked only to be told, “you need to leave because we are closed” Maybe I will give them another chance and update my review accordingly

I have been a customer at Repeat Boutique since 2005 and I have never had a bad experience. I am a fanatical consignment shoppier and have been to other consignment shops that are in Powell that handled their customer service/pricing of items very poorly. This store provide excellent and efficient service and prices are very reasonable. I have consigned much of my stuff here and got a fair return and also bought clothes and the purchases were not shoddy quality and of good value. My favorite is when they do their end of the season clearance when the store is practically marked down to 70% off.
