Mohs Micrographic Surgery (also known as Microscopically Controlled Excision, Mohs Chemosurgery, or simply Mohs Surgery) is the surgical technique we use for the treatment of skin cancer. Even though this technique was invented back in the 1930's, it has continued to be refined over the years and is considered to be the "Gold Standard" of your skin cancer treatment options.

I have been a patient of Dr Warren’s for over 15 years and have always been appreciative of the care I received at the office. The staff is professional and friendly and Dr Warren is very thorough and, in my opinion, the best in his field of Mohs surgery judging from my experience. This past visit I had the pleasure of meeting Dr Howard, and again, was very pleased with his upbeat attitude and expertise.

My wife and I went for a general check up and met with Dr. Howard who gave us a complete body check. Some things were froze and other items were taken to be biopsies. Dr. Howard talked to us and made us feel comfortable all the while as he was working on our bodies and explaining what he was doing and answering our questions. His assistant was also very professional and courteous as she performed her duties.

A few years ago I noticed a spot on the top of my head that kept getting what I thought was a little pimple, and then just an odd sore that just kept bleeding a little, eventually I noticed it started to get larger & I was loosing my hair in that spot. I was TERRIFIED about going to see the dr! I just kept explaining it away. Finally my vanity & concern made me decide to choose a Dr- something told me to choose a place that specialize in skin, including skin cancer. I think God I chose First Coast Mohs!! Every single person who worked there was amazing! The place was beautiful & my fear & anxiety

Besides the longer than expected wait time in the reception area and in the procedural room waiting for biopsy results, the experience was very good. I appreciated the professionalism, patience, and ability to address my needs and answer questions about my concerns. Dr Howard and his assistant were very helpful and friendly. With several of my family members as patients, the entire staff has given my family a positive and consistent experience which is why we continue to choose First Coast MOHS for all of our dermatological needs!
