Our goal is to create a safe, positive and accepting environment where adults and children learn together. We believe it is beneficial for families to be in the classroom learning and participating with their children. We encourage our children to think for themselves, solve problems, ask questions and find out what they really care about.
Our preschoolers learn these skills in a nurturing environment through dramatic play, block building, taking time to solve problems when they arise, investigating, planning, making mistakes, discussing their ideas with other children and adults, hearing good stories and songs, and playing creatively with paint, sand, wood, and water, as well as spending time observing plants, animals, natural phenomena, and exploring the outdoors.

For parents of currently enrolled students at the Juneau Co-op Preschool only, please - we've set up a Ages & Stages Questionnaire Online for parents. Forms Before your first day, please take a few minutes to print out these forms, read, and sign. Returning Preschoolers Preschooler immunization records are kept on file and you do not need to provide an updated copy unless your child.
