We are Joey and Brook and we are a husband and wife wedding and portrait photography team located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. We specialize in photographing weddings, elopements, engagements, families, maternity, newborns, individuals, and senior sessions. Our images are a mixture of portraiture, fine art, and photojournalism that are modern yet timeless.

We have been wedding and portrait photographers since 2010. We have photographed hundreds of weddings and sessions in some of the most incredible places with some of the most amazing people. For us, photography is way more than just taking a picture. We capture images in an artistic way and incorporate them with traditional and timeless photos to tell your story.
All of our wedding packages come with downloadable high resolution images, an online viewing gallery to share with friends and family, and printing rights to all the images. We also offer add-ons such as a highlight film and a variety of wedding albums. Send us a message to get the details about our packages!
All of our wedding and portrait session packages come with fully edited High Resolution images delivered through a protected online gallery. The gallery may be used to download and share images with family and friends. Below are some of the frequently asked questions. We do list our minimum amounts on our pricing guides, but we always deliver a lot more than what is listed.
Brook and Joey shot our wedding and they were amazing! They were the first photographers we talked too and we knew right away they were the photogs for us! We liked that they are a husband and wife team, and that they both had different styles of photography that complimented each other. Their photos are art!
We are based out of the "City of Arts and Innovation" Winston-Salem, NC. There is no better workplace. Winston-Salem is an intimate city full of art and inspiration. We can photograph a session in the urban setting of the city, and in 15 minutes be in a field full of green grass and cows without a person in sight.

Brook did an amazing job for my daughter’s wedding in May at the T Austin Finch House.

My experience with Urban Bloom Photography has been more than exceptional. I am new to the North Carolina area and was in search of a new family photographer. I called/emailed so many different people and was not thrilled with anyone I spoke to for various reasons. Then I corresponded with Joey and Brook. From our first conversation it was just easy. They were so excited to work with me to achieve the "look and feel" I wanted for my photos. They suggested places to make it happen and they were very flexible with me when I had to reschedule twice despite the fact they are extremely busy.

We could not have asked for a better couple to take our wedding photos! Joey and Brook did such an amazing job and we could not be happier with our wedding photos! We purchased the package where you can have Joey or Brook come to your rehearsal dinner, which was the best decision we ever made. It was due to rain on our wedding day so we made a last minute decision to have all our wedding party and close family dress up as if it was the big day; we called Joey and asked if he mind taking all our wedding photos on Friday instead!
