Sustainably using waste materials in the cement manufacturing process for more than 30 years. For more than three decades, Green America Recycling (GAR) has been sustainably reusing waste materials for fuel in the cement manufacturing process. We are proudly owned by Continental Cement Company and operate a Part B permitted RCRA Treatment, Storage and Disposal (TSD) facility adjacent to the cement plants in Hannibal, Missouri and Davenport, Iowa.

GAR's full-service capability includes waste stream pre-qualification, unloading and processing of RCRA hazardous and non-hazardous solids and liquids. We've long been recognized for our commitment to the communities where we live, work and operate. Learn how we have used nearly 140,000 tons of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous waste as an alternative fuel source in our cement plants.

We are proudly owned by Continental Cement Company and operate a Part B permitted RCRA Treatment, Storage and Disposal (TSD) facility adjacent to the cement plant in Hannibal, Missouri.
For more than a century, Continental Cement has proudly manufactured high-quality cement. Our products have been used in many iconic construction projects, like the Empire State Building and the Panama Canal. Recently, Continental Cement has been used to build the US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis and the new home of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team.
At Green America Recycling, we support the areas where we live, work and operate, and are committed to initiatives that make our communities stronger. In Hannibal, Missouri, we support the Two Rivers Industries recycling center, an organization that provides employment to developmentally disabled individuals.
Green America Recycling is an established leader in environmental stewardship. Along with our parent company, Continental Cement, we are committed to manufacturing cement in a sustainable way.

In fact, Continental Cement is one of only 12 cement manufacturers permitted to handle federally-regulated hazardous waste materials as a fuel source, and one of only two cement manufacturers permitted to handle federally-regulated solid hazardous waste materials. The cement industry continues to explore new ways of producing cement in an environmentally responsible way.
In addition to our operations, we also provide important environmental services to our community. We are industry leaders in developing process technologies which are implemented at our site, and research and development for new technologies is continuing at the plants. Green America Recycling's staff of chemists and technicians operate a fully equipped state-of-the-art on-site fuels laboratory to ensure employee safety and regulatory compliance.
