Here at Generation 2 Generations' Care Bear Cottage our philosophy is each member of our staff is dedicated to ensuring that the words, "Where Caring Comes First, " is a reality for every child entrusted to us. We believe that every child deserves to be treated with respect and kindness while growing and learning about the world around them.
The toddler program offers a stimulating, safe and clean environment with emphasis on building basic trust and fostering autonomy while nurturing the child's need for closeness. The young child must have sensory and concrete experiences in order to progress to higher levels of development. Children are naturally curious.
Generation 2 Generations' Care Bear Cottage is open from 6:30am to 8:00pm Monday - Friday to better assist with your everyday lives. This facility is awesome I had to leave my granddaughter for VPK very first time ever was scared to death . These women are unbelievable ❤ caring, loving , mothers and grandmothers and daughters the teachers there where so awesome to my granddaughter . my granddaughter loved each and every one of them thank you Miss Jamie thank you Miss Sarah thank you Miss Gloria you gave my granddaughter an experience that she'll never forget. ❤❤❤❤

I went here when I was 6 or even younger. So this was over 30 years ago. Not sure if it’s same owner/ staff that was there back then but this place scarred me for life! Only reason I’m writing this review is to hopefully get parents thinking and ask the questions they need. So they used to do “field trips” to the beach to play in sand. I had been on this before so I knew what was going to happen once we got back. I didn’t play and didn’t even have one grain of sand on me when we got back. Sure enough same thing happened as last time. They made all the kids take off all of their clothes

This place is absolutely wonderful, my son has been going here for 4 years now the owner is very great in helping as much as possible and answering any question you have. The whole sleeping for 3 hours or more is a lie j/s my SON always come back exhausted. This daycare is very hands on and all about engaging the children into learning AND not just bring outdoors, they also go above and beyond by taking the children on field trips for the summer program and my son has a blast everytime.They are very well organized and clean and I've never had a bad experience. I must say they are an amazing team

Could be better in every way.
My personal experience was awful. Always sending my daughter home with filthy clothing caused by accidents even though she was perfect at home....always sending tne kids on the playground as much as possible. Letting them nap for 3 hours....
I un enrolled my child. They kept collecting the state money even though I took my child out. So the new school wasnt able to collect the ELC they were stealing...
They are dirty. And unprofessional.

Mrs. Gloria has been the acting manager here since I was a child attending Care Bear over 25 years ago. She has always done a great job maintaining a healthy environment, keeping the kids happy and having fun with activities/crafts/trips. When I found out she is now the owner it gave me goosebumps. What a hard working woman! Now her daughter… carries her love and enthusiasm into the company and it shows through smiling faces every day that our son "goes to school." He loves it there! It's a family vibe, friendly staff and our son is excited to go when we talk about it. I feel very lucky

I love Carebear!!! I have 3 of my granchildren enrolled there. My oldest grandson has been going there since he was 2 , he is now 8 years old and loves the after school program and the summer camp with lots of field trips and activities.
The staff is amazing! The love and care they show all the children melts my heart. Lots of hugs and kisses everyday.
I feel secure knowing while Im at work my grandkids are being well taken care of.
Thanks to the staff at Carebear my younger grandchildren will be ready for school .

Care bear cottage is the most amazing place on earth you can take your children. If your looking for a place that your child or children will love and always want to go then this is the place. They are always Striving to educate children in fun ways so that way learning is always fun. This I definitely a 5 star facility

Many of my friends went to Care Bear Cottage as a child and now their children go there. This made my decision easy to decide where my daughter should go. She loves it, I love it, and my daughter has learned so much from the staff. My daughter has never complained about going to daycare, which makes me happy. Thank you Care Bear!

Everytime I pick my girls up I am reminded how lucky they are to attend such a great daycare! Miss Gloria, who now is the owner, was my teacher when I was little. When the kiddos dont want to leave you know… theyre doing something right! The staff is GREAT, its clean, and I love the comfortable feeling knowing they are in good hands!
If you are looking for a new or thinking of changing schools, Care Bear Cottage is highly recommended, hands down great place!

I went to care bear when I was younger. There's a great staff practically like a second family. I learned so much while I was there that I've been in advanced classes ever since. I have younger siblings now that go there and they love it. It's amazing how much they have learned since the beginning of the school year. I would highly recommend care bear to anybody that wants great care for there children.

Not good supervision, kids always coming home with marks, bites, bruises, not the normal "kids messing around marks" Dcf is constantly being called, and I have spoken to other parents who have had dcf involved at home with the daycare placing blame on parents because there either understaffed over have to many children there for them to care for, Always finding ridiculous reasons for the children to be sent home. They need to pick up the slack. There concept of extended hours are nice, but for what price of the children.
