Penn's Trail Environmental

Penn's Trail Environmental was formed by a group of highly qualified, dedicated professionals who believe there is a need for quality expert service in the environmental fields. They are certified or licensed in a broad range of environmental specialties and have both regulatory and consulting experience so we know "the system."

The program is administered locally by each municipality or by a County Health Department (if present) and is overseen by the PA Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP). Some municipalities have additional requirements above and beyond state regulations and we endeavor to address those as well.

Our goal is to select the most practical and most economical properly performing technology to meet our client's needs. This is demonstrated by developing site-specific plans for septic systems that perform to the highest standards to meet your needs and thereby provide you the best possible product.

The sewage permitting program in the State of Maryland is implemented on a County-wide basis. Field investigations are used to assess soil suitability and make final recommendations as to which Sewage Disposal Alternative (SDA) is appropriate. Penn's Trail Environmental, LLC works with every County Health Department in the state to ensure that the long-term sewage disposal needs of Marylanders are met.

The need to properly operate and maintain an individual septic system has always been considered essential for the longevity of any on-lot sewage disposal system. Penn's Trail Environmental provides the testing and reporting to satisfy current regulatory requirements and will continue to insure that maintenance requirements are met.
