We are a full service pharmacy located in Costa Mesa, California, a coastal city in Orange County. Our specialty is personalized medication to help our patients achieve optimal health. We focus primarily on customized formulations of bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, but also specialize in compounded pediatric medicines, pain therapies, custom thyroid prescriptions, veterinary formulations, and dermatological preparations.

If I could give more than five stars I would. I have been overpaying for a med since March 2021 and no one could tell me why, just put responsibility on the insurance. Yesterday I spoke to Ed Mundo about this issue, and to my surprise he spent the last few days speaking with my insurance. He was able to rectify the problem, correct my co-pay and also get my account refunded for 10 months of overpaid deductibles. Thanks Harbor, and Ed, for excellent customer care.

I used Harbor Compounding just recently for the first time. They literally called me 6 times before they compounded my first prescription with them. When I refilled it the second month, I asked for a 90 day supply. They couldn't even pick up the phone to tell me my insurance wouldn't cover 90 days, charged me $300 for my prescriptions and then mailed them to me. My portion on insurance would have been about $50. Now my insurance will not reimburse me and I am stuck with that bill. I find this very unprofessional, and when I called, the technician told me that they had discounted it because

I have never had a prescription filled by a compounding pharmacy. The staff at Harbor Compounding is so helpful and efficient! I would go out of my way to get my prescription filled at Harbor. They will delivery your prescription to your home for a reasonable fee too. The pharmacist is knowledgeable and genuine. I would highly recommend.

I've been a customer of Harbor Compounding Pharmacy for quite a while and have never really had a complaint however, I think the way they are conducting business during COVID-19 is not in the spirit of an essential business. Every other pharmacy in southern CA allows RX's to be picked up utilizing social distancing. Even fast food restaurants have adapted by placing pick up bins at the entrance of the storefront to prevent physical interaction. It seems to me that they do not want to adapt but instead "pass the buck" to the consumer to force them to pay an additional $7 for

Horrible customer service and professionalism from the pharmacist; Jennifer! She is so rude and incompetent and I would not recommend this company for this sole reason. She also compromised the prescription that I filled and gave me less than I paid for. It is true how one bad egg ruins the whole batch and that is the case here where I have had great experiences with the other pharmacists but my few horrible and distasteful experiences with this particular pharmacist has made me not fill my prescriptions here and I will make sure to alert my friends and family.

Mario helped me fill my prescription and answer my numerous questions. He also offered me a bottle of water. I spoke to the pharmacist as well who answered what she could. It's best to check with the doctor since I take a plethora of meds.

I have been using Harbor for a few years now. Although I have never been there and have my prescriptions mailed to me, I feel like they are my neighborhood pharmacy. The people I have worked with there could not be friendlier and more helpful. They go the extra mile to get my prescriptions to me in a timely manner. I was so impressed and thankful for the pharmacy experience I had here. I was in a pinch and needed a cream compounded that was going to take kaiser two weeks, so I came here and they got it done in 2 hours!!
Not only were they incredibly affordable (for going out of insurance) but very efficient. The center is very welcoming and clean when you walk in and I experienced great customer service from start to finish. Everyone was quite friendly and the pharmacist was very knowledgeable when walking me through my prescription.

I have had experience with many compounding pharmacies over the years that I have been using them. Some have a "don't care" attitude and change employees often. Then there's Harbor Compounding Pharmacy which takes pride in their follow through and customer service! At a time when customer service is falling by the wayside, I know I can always count on them to get my prescriptions to me as fast as possible and keep me informed along the way. Took days to fill my prescription and if I really need it they would not give me prescription any faster. (It's also hard to judge when you will be out of Hormone cream because of the dispenser.)
Harbor Compounding during the Holidays had my prescription ready in hours and texted me they received my voice mail
Order, then called when it was ready.
They also mail out prescriptions in case you are really busy!!

I don't really rate pharmacies, I mean a pharmacy is a pharmacy right? But this place is so cool! After my doctor sent in my prescription, I received a text within minutes to call them to provide all my information, and then a text barely 5 minutes later that my prescription was ready! The staff are super nice and the consult from the pharmacist was one of the nicest and most thorough ever! Totally recommend!!!

I have been using Harbor compounding for my bioidentical hormones for the past five and a half years. Harbor compounding employees are consistently polite and knowledgeable and I would say customer service is quite excellent.
I've had the opportunity to go to many compounding pharmacies during my travels around the United States and near my home (near San Juan Capistrano). I continue to choose Harbor compounding. Harbor compounding has a fantastic overnight delivery system through Federal Express that is quite reasonable. My prescriptions reaches me on time every time.
