J.D. Gilmour & Co. was founded by James Douglas Gilmour in 1953. It remains to this day a true family business. Our mission then, as it is now, was to be forthright, straightforward, and honorable while providing sound insurance advice to our clients. With a combined over 200 years and three generations in the insurance business, we have developed a strong name that our clients can trust.

Andy Gilmour joined J.D. Gilmour & Co. in 1980. Prior to that he worked for a large self-funded medical plan administrator. He has been a licensed insurance agent since 1973. Andy has experience in the full range of employee benefits and has relationships with his clients dating back 30 years or more.
