They charge the credit card 1st then figure out if they have the parts. When they don't have the parts it is impossible to get them back on the phone and fix the order. Always a problem with them. Not the first time as you can see with all the other complaints.

Every transaction with this business has been pain free! They know what I wanted, asked the right question, and when I didn't enter my address complete when ordering, they called me to verify. They remembered I had ordered before. Can't say enough good about them.

The worst customer service ever. I had to deal with Dan W. My calls are never returned and the phone is never answered goes straight to voice mail. I had a problem with some drums that were a bad casting and had to return them by the way you have to pay for your own shipping. Also to get my refund takes 3 to 4 weeks I was told. I think its horrible business. Think twice before buying anything from them.

I've had nothing but good experiences, even with a problem part, with Kanter. Their staff is excellent, the shipping and return policies are reasonable, and I have a GLOWING report about the quality of their gaskets and seals. I have been, and will continue to be, a customer of this great parts house.

Talk about under promise and over deliver. I was told 7-10 days to process due to the current times, however I received my package in 3 days!
Not so great though: The remanufactured water pump I received has rust on it and was not completely painted. The radiator cap I received looks weathered and used. The fuel filter was supposed to be a reproduction AC filter with AC stamped or embossed somewhere, however I do not see that. Have not installed these parts yet.

Worst service ever. I order a set of transmission gaskets for a 1955 Buick with sales man William Donovan. The gaskets arrived and were wrong, they were for a 54 and earlier which has a different transmission. Also the gaskets were all damaged and must have been when packed as the packaging was not damaged. I asked for a new correct set but never heard back. I finally contacted their sales e mail and got a reply from Dan Winget who asked for photos. I did that straight away and never heard back. I have e mailed approx 20 times now with no reply over 3 months. Worst service ever. DO NOT USE THIS

: Update: I just called back today and spoke with john. He was awesome. He's getting everything handled.
I called today at 8:30am inquiring if parts were available 1958 Pontaiac Chieftain front brake drums and shoes, the person who I spoke with said we will call you back to let you know if they are in stock. I was planning on driving up from Philadelphia to pick them up. Never received a call back from them.

I ordered this product for my grandfather and the product was what we needed and arrived quickly. While I did feel like I got some attitude from some of the people I spoke with on the phone while trying to change an order, they still made sure the order got changed, my card was only charged once and the order arrived quickly. It was exactly what we needed. Would do business with them again, though I hope for a little more friendly customer support next time.

Their customer service is poor as well as their return policy, even though their web page states 100% customer satisfaction. The representative who we dealt with was pompous and rude. Accusing us of not installing parts correctly versus admitting the part was defective, especially considering the installation was overseen by a professional who has over 55 years in the business. Upon returning the one core disc and the defective pressure plate they claim we damaged the pressure plate so no refund only reimbursement for core cost of it. Funny though when we put the original pressure plate back in

I bought a fuel pump pushrod from Kanter. It wouldn't fit my car because it was machined 5 thousandths too wide. I have now been playing phone tag for a week with Kanter to properly handle a return. They continue to transfer me to customer service who wont pick up the phone, and nobody in sales can handle it because "thats not their job".
I will never deal with this company again.
