Water from sink was brown. Front desk had poor customer service skills. Vending machines were out of order. When asked for clean drinking water was given an attitude and told that I was welcome to find another place to stay. Very poor customer service.

This place looks nice and it could be an awesome place to stay but obviously the person that owns this place does not care. I stayed 6 days and my room only got cleaned ONCE. I had to pile trash until I left. The bed was okay but the pillows were super uncomfortable. The room smelled mouldy and old. When I changed my shoes to my sandals, my sandals got glued to the floor that is how dirty it was. Do not walk barefoot in this place. Window screen was broken so I had to make sure that the gaps got fill with toilet paper so mosquitoes do not come into the room. I ate at the restaurant and got sick

If you find a bed bug or any other type of pest...DO NOT REPORT IT IN...You'll end up on a "D.N.R." (DO NOT RENT). I loved to stay at this hotel and the one in Anchorage but now.....nope! Before I'd have given this a 5star but after this I'd give it a 0

Just need to give up a request whenever guests ask for something. Get a laundry room for guests, and add few more small things in the room such as extra towels cleaning supplies, utensils. And checking out should be extended to later time for the price paid.
Other than that it was a good stay.

I'd give this Hotel zero stars if that was an option. This place charged $250/night. With that price, you had a broken thermostat in the room with NO heat, broken TV, broken shower door, there was blood stains in the bathroom on the walls, and the whole room smelled of urine. Oh and our room phone didn't even work! When we asked for a different room, they refused even though they had other open rooms. They also refused to discount the price of the room after we had talked to them. DO NOT stay here. Worst place in Bethel.

Comfortable beds, clean and coffee machine in every room. Shampoo, conditioner, lotion, towels, bath bar and face bar with shower. During the summer season, it was a little bit warmer than I like as I don't believe they have A/C. There is a little fan unit in every room, which definitely helped. Each room also has a mini fridge (no freezer) and a microwave as well. About 195 per night for a room with a queen bed. Cable with FX, AMC, Cartoon Network, etc. as well.

At $260 a night this place is a steal. Meaning they are stealing about $160 more out of your wallet than what it's worth.

Cold showers, brown water and paper thin walls are a bonus.

You also get a glimpse of what prohibition looked like in the 20's.

Would stay here again because where else you gonna stay in this hell hole of a town?

Don't walk around with your shoes off unless you want to ruin your socks. It's maybe the best hotel option in Bethel, but that isn't saying much. Better than it used to be, but still SO far to go. And for the price, yikes!

As far as hotels in Bethel go this place gets the job done and a very polite staff. They go above and beyond to help you when your not from around there. The rooms themselves are small, the walls are thin, and it is not the newest building you have ever seen but again remember where you are! Overall I will be back!

Gross!! Rooms were dirty, housekeeping didn't come by. Bathroom floor stained with urine.
Pubes on bathroom floor. Shower door fell in on me while taking a shower. Hairdryer fell apart in my hand. Coworker found used feminine product in the drawer. Charged me for 11 days, not the four I stayed. Currently disputing the charge, management will not return calls.

Stayed here for business. Exceptionally nice staff. Clean, quiet, comfortable room. A basic breakfast (instant oatmeal or cold cereal, coffee) is available free in the lobby, or there is a connected restaurant that serves reasonably priced hot breakfasts (and lunch/dinner). Clean drinking water is available in the hotel lobby, as well (a concern some people have in Bethel). Rooms have wi-fi, phone, TV, coffee-maker, shampoo etc.

The hotel is a short walk from the Kuskokwim River. There are also some additional restaurants within walking distance. (I especially liked ChopStix.)

The rooms were very hot all night. The fan that was supplied with the room didn't have a long enough cord to be placed by the window unfortunately. Otherwise it is a pleasant enough place. Not terrible new or clean, and the walls are pretty thin, but it will do for a night or two. On the upside there was a microwave and a mini fridge in the room, that was fairly unexpected.

This is, according to locals I trust, the best hotel in town.

Ouch.

Problems with this place began the day I arrived in Bethel.

It was early in the morning; I went to fetch a cab to the hotel and discovered that all cabs in town are cash-only. Curious, since all 11 of the remote bush villages I've visited take credit. Bethel is the biggest bush hub town, so this was surprising. I went back into the Alaska Airlines building to look for an ATM, no such luck. PROTIP: there IS an ATM next door at Yute airlines. Curious, once again, that the large corporate airline lacks an ATM while the

In the unlikely event that you find yourself in Bethel, stay here. This is the closest to a hotel that you are going to find in rural Alaska.

The staff are exceptionally nice, the rooms were clean, the water was hot, the food is damn good, and a puppy greeted us on the way in. What more could you ask for after a week in the bush?

They also have a common room with a pool table and flat screen TVs w/ cable in every room.

Update: Bethel is probably my least favorite place on earth. I haven't been to North Korea or Sudan, but I those seem on par in my mind. Yes, the water is piss yellow and
