Alimony, or spousal support, is awarded following a divorce to limit any unfair economic effects to either party. Finances were most likely arranged with the two spouses working as a team, such as one taking a lower earning job to ensure time with family, child care, or support the higher-wage earning spouse.
Most clients are just looking for a way to amicably end their marriage, and if a fair compromise can be made outside of court, they would rather avoid the financial and emotional costs of litigation. Attorneys who are trained in the collaborative law process can advocate for their clients when working towards an agreement.
In the court system, evidence may be overlooked, application of the law may be in error, and other factors may affect the court's rulings. In these cases where you have lost a lawsuit or a particular issue in a lawsuit, Beth M. Terry can help you explore your options through an appeal or other post-judgment procedures.

Miss Terry is kind and compassionate with a great memory to detail. One of her best skill sets is after negotiations were done she makes sure every document is dotted and T's are crossed so the case is handled to perfection.
When your dealing with Government/City docs this lady is who you want to get the job done correctly.
Thank you so much, Ms. Terry

Beth Terry needs to put her clients first and understanding that she works for the client not the other way around....Extremely money hungry and refuses to work for the money....when you ask about your money and where it is going she will file unnecessary motions to have a reason to bill you....The judge nor other attorney had zero respect for her....would not allow her to speak....shows up in court whining and looking a hot mess....This was the WORST EXPERIENCE....Save your money unless you want your experience to drag out....I would give Beth ZERO STARS....😡🤮

Worst lawyer I've ever had. Does her own paralegal work, seems very disorganized and does not communicate well at all.

I was referred to Beth by another lawyer who claimed she was really good in court and very knowledgeable. Shortly after I paid the deposit, that same lawyer proclaimed, "Beth Terry could never represent me!" I should have pulled out right then.
Although she claimed to have a very good relationship with the judge in my case (because he had been to her office on occasions), it seemed Beth Terry was not respected by John Guy in my case at all. He wouldn't even look at her when she spoke. In my case, either she did not possess the legal aptitude to fight the situations or she purposely allowed the

Please do not hire for any divorce or family matters. It seems as if this attorney is not respected by the judge in any court. Everytime she speaks the judge shuts her down immediately. This attorney takes money but does not have the work to prove.

Beth and I had a long, long relationship due to a crazy ex husband who was suing me for his own prenup that he wrote. We were up against an equally crazy Judge who had handled my ex's last case. WHAT A LONG PAINFUL TIME IT WAS BUT BETH WON!!!! She won the important part and that was the money handle. She is calm, informed, experienced with the craziest Judges and won't take your money in masses. She can handle an appeal with aplomb! She wins for her client and she won big time for me. I HIGHLY recommend her!!
