Dr. Ganson graduated from the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Dentistry as a general dentist and worked as an associate in private practice. It was during that time that she realized her true love of treating children. After two years in private practice, Dr. Ganson took a leap of faith, left private practice, and spent a year providing dental care for underprivileged children in North Kansas City.

Dr. Ganson loves working with this young population. Her patients find her friendly and reassuring, while the parents of her patients find her compassionate, caring and highly skilled. Dr. Ganson and her husband, Troy, have two children, Knox and Brinkley. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, watching the Chiefs and Royals, and being outdoors!
Services
When you arrive for your first visit, please make sure to have your insurance card and identification available. Also, if your referring dentist gave you a referral slip and/or x-rays, please bring those with you. Each child is different, so we tailor the first dental experience to each child. We will help your child learn about what happens at the dentist by telling, showing and doing.
A toothbrush with soft bristles and a small head, especially one designed for infants, is the best choice for infants. Brushing teeth twice a day will remove plaque bacteria that can lead to decay. To prevent dental problems, your child should see a dentist when the first tooth appears, usually between 6 and 12 months of age, certainly no later than his/her first birthday.

I should have read the reviews before scheduling with this office....my mistake. The initial stuff went well...friendly front staff. But this office does not back their work...period. My daughter's spacer fell out not long after it was put in, and they assured me that my insurance should cover it....despite me not understanding why they were not backing their work and just putting it in for her with no charge. Ok fine....I asked how much it would be and got shrugged shoulders. A few weeks later, we get a bill in the mail. $82 for an"exam fee" (what exam?) and $325 for a tiny spacer glued in...

Dr. Ganson and her team do exemplary work. They were able to set up a visit for emergency dental work and provided top notch customer care and created a comfortable environment for children in not so comfortable circumstances. Great team and experience!

My daughter was scheduled to go under anesthesia and got sick 2 days before her appointment. I was told I needed to have a doctor sign off that she couldn’t go under by 5pm on the same day I called or I would lose my $300 deposit. We couldn’t get her seen in time but were told by a nurse line it’s best to reschedule. When I called the office to let them know and try to reschedule anyway I was told to just go somewhere else. I don’t care about my deposit, I care about my daughters safety. How completely rude and unprofessional.

New patient appt under 2. New mom learned lesson the hard way. Don’t cancel an appt within 24 hours an then no show for the 2nd as a new patient they will dismiss your kid but they said they could still see her mother. Rules that makes sense!! Thanks!
Edit:I understand the policy but they pick an choose who it applies too!

I have seven children and have only ever taken my kids to Dr. Doyle or Dr. Ganson. Unfortunately, we didn't have insurance for a while. Now that we have insurance again I am getting my kids caught up on checkups. Because it's been more than 3 years they won't even see my kids. They say they are the only ones who take my kids insurance and won't see them. I am so heartbroken.

Amazing staff!!! Can not say enough about the ladies. Clean and welcoming environment. I wish I could have the same experience as an adult. My daughter loves everyone there and isn't hesitant about visiting. I would suggest this location to anyone and everyone in the area with little ones.

Their customer service and patient care are a world above the rest. Going to the dentist with my son can be an utter catastrophe but Ann's friendly greeting at the front desk immediately made us feel welcome. Lacee went above and beyond to make sure he felt involved in the appointment & talked him through each step. Dr. Ganson has the most cheery personality. I would dare say she is the Mary Poppins of pediatric dentistry. Just a spoonful of cheer and my son let her 'count his teeth.' We left and my son asked, "can we come back here for the rest of my life?" Thank you for an amazing experience

We are new patients to Happy Teeth Dentistry. I crazily took my three toddler boys there by myself, and Dr. Ganson and her staff were amazingly helpful. They entertained the boys while I completed my registration (they sent me the link ahead of time, but Mom Brain struck again), and they were experts at making the boys feel comfortable in the chair. They were able to work on multiple boys at once. The office is sparkling clean and very inviting. I absolutely recommend them to anyone!
