The Williamsburg Winery
This wine carries a wonderful complexity of mandarin orange, peach, apricot, pear, pineapple, and some zesty citrus fruits. Like the 2017, this wine has the sassy complexity we love in our Albario. A strawberry and cherry essence gives way to subtle notes of plums, currants, raspberries, and blueberries wrapped in a beautiful herbaceous and floral note that lends a nice lusciousness to the wine.

It is a richly complex wine with many layers. There is a balance between the dark fruits of figs and dates along with the red fruits of raspberry and dark cherry. There are additionally some nice hints of blueberry, rhubarb and cassis.
Services
The Extensive Tour and Reserve Wine Tastings are available by reservation only in our private wine cellar. You will sample and compare some of the reserve wines produced at the winery with selected vintages from our library collection. A country sampler of assorted cheese and crackers will complement your personalized tasting, and you will take home an oversized etched reserve wine glass to remember your tasting.
Our 300 acre farm, known as Wessex Hundred, is home to The Williamsburg Winery. The use of "Hundred" to name a property dates to the Colonial era and describes parcels of land sufficient to support a hundred families regardless of actual acreage. In 1606, the newly-formed Virginia Company sent three ships westward to the New World to settle a permanent English colony.
Our menu features a full wine list including wine by the glass, by the bottle, and flights. We also serve Virginia oysters on the half shell as well as cheese and charcuterie boards. We celebrate the bounty of Virginia at our new Wine Bar. Our wine list features not only Williamsburg Winery wines but cider and sparkling wine from other Virginia producers.
Featuring a 2-level deck overlooking the Albario and the Petit Verdot vineyards PLUS an outdoor terrace with a fire pit. Area closes 30 minutes after Pavilion closing time. Our maximum party size at one table is 6 guests, and we ask that you observe a 2 hour time limit at your table. The 1619 Wine Pavilion is a place for you and your guests to enjoy wine in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.

My mom and I stopped here while visiting colonial Williamsburg, and it was such a treat! We had a wonderful time enjoying the sweet flight in the tasting room and were so happy to be able to purchase some great tasting wine from the gift shop! There were very pretty Christmas decorations up, and many families were there enjoying themselves. Thanks for a fun experience! :)

We did not eat just had a flight. Wine tasting room was like sitting in grandmas living room terrible atmosphere. We ordered semi sweet wine and it was super sweet. Go to Williamsburg area for breweries not wine unless your over 60 then go here

It was so much fun. They vineyard was pretty chilly the day I was there. That being said, we were not outside for long. Once inside, there was so much to see. The Albariño was a favorite as well as the Cab Franc. Well worth the tour and tasting, we will probably do it again!

We had an amazing experience and have booked their hotel again on the 24th of December and Christmas:). They made our day special and we will keep coming back. Thank you for your premier service during these “tough” times.

Nice lunch at the Winery. The tasting room was not open at the time of my visit due to COVID health requirements. I ordered the Turkey & Brie sandwich and a flight of red wine. All very reasonably priced. The grill was out of service and being repaired while there, so the menu was limited. Nice experience, very friendly wait staff and Hostess. Go here while you are in Williamsburg it is a good time and beautiful scenery.

A little less than 8 years ago I wanted to take my soon to be wife to a great dinner for her birthday. It was one of the top three dinners of my life.
Today we returned for our 7 year anniversary and we were extremely disappointed. Be aware that they don’t have their dinner menu available until after 5. Thats fine, we ordered off the lunch menu. The crab cake sandwich was awful, cold, small pieces of (maybe) crab, and looked like it had Frosted Flakes coating prior to frying. My burger (yes I got a burger, the waiter recommended it and several people around me were getting it) was cold and cooked

We came here for the their restaurant and tried one of the wines as well. I like the aesthetics of the restaurant, simple and welcoming. Our waitress was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
We were pleasantly surprised that they had some dessert wine options. It was sweet and tasty. Delicious food but the portions were small, especially the quiche, and the butternut squash that came with the rockfish was just a couple circular dollops.
The salad that came with the quiche a bit odd— it came with some greens and mystery cut veggies on top (along with a beet). For dessert, we had a tiramisu which

Always driving by this place and I know my wife loves the wine here, so I'd thought I would stop in and check it out. The drive in is very cool the road has rows of trees on both sides, giving a very cool look. Really love the look of the place, falls in with the traditional Williamsburg Colonial style. Then had a large event area in the back, where they may have been preparing for a wedding. Couple little tasting rooms and store. Very nice bar area, where you could sit upstairs and look over the Vinyard. They also have a restaurant, which wasn't open yet but their prep smelled great. Will definitely
