Whether you have never stepped into a yoga class before or have been practicing all of your life we have something to fit your needs.

We have certified instructors teaching Yoga, Barre, RIDE (Indoor Cycling & Rhythm Ride), Pilates, PiYo, and a variety of other exercise options. We also have certification in teaching Yoga for Cancer (y4c). With more than 38 classes a week, we have something for you!
Services
Everyone is required to sign in prior to entering class, so please check in at the front desk so we can extend a warm welcome and handle any paperwork. Even if its stored in the cubby with your personal effects, please turn off your phone. Escaping the demands of the real world will enhance your experience and will keep from disrupting your fellow yogis.
Barre is a full-body workout that uses isometric movements to sculpt your arms, legs, abdominals, hips, thighs, and seat. This class will allow your body to increase flexibility while you tone, burn calories, and gain lean muscle. Expect fun music, an amazing workout, and great stretches. The time will fly by! Barre is upbeat and challenging, this is your hour to escape!
Our stationary bikes simulate the feeling of riding on a road bike, allowing you to workout standing, sitting and climbing. We use the Schwinn AC Carbon Blue bikes because of their adjustability and exceptional quality. Our bikes use a weighted flywheel with magnetic resistance adjusted by a tension knob to increase or decrease cycling intensity.
PiYo is a strength, stretch and flexibility workout promising to deliver the same results as yoga, Pilates and interval training combined. It is powerful, dynamic and will make you work at a high intensity to burn calories, torch body fat and shed unwanted pounds in as little as 60 days.

PiYo features all of the benefits that you get from Yoga and Pilates, including flexibility and core training, but with an added emphasis on cardio and strength training to really make you sweat.Another unique aspect about PiYo is that you will be doing plenty of strength training and muscle building throughout the 60 day series, but you will not be utilizing a using a single weight.
Betsy is just one of our fav's here at the studio and we wanted to share her love of 229 Yoga and why she joins us every week. Barre is her favorite class, but Physique is a close second! I love Barre and Physique because I feel pushed to my limit every.single.time. My muscles scream at me while engaging in these classes, but they scream in the nicest way.

229Yoga was a great first time experience. The facility is above average and clean with great instructors. This will be included in my weekly health and fitness program.

I like their $5 community days on Saturdays. I'm from out of town so I just drop in occasionally. My first visit they gave me a tour of the studio which I thought was a very gracious gesture.

Thankful for this up and coming yoga studio! In town for the week and my soul was craving that re-center. Owner Penny was very welcoming, literally rolled out her own mat. Thank you for your hospitality! See you soon.

Have been going here for several months now and I love it...my practice has improved a lot. The instructors are great, will help you improve your form by adjusting you, and challenge you but also aware of everyones different limitations and offer modifications. Mats and blocks are available without a rental fee and everyone is friendly and welcoming!

I like the Barre and Hot Yoga classes for breaking a serious sweat!
