Under the Consumer Directed Program you always have the right to select and train your own caregiver, who may be a family member, friend, neighbor, or trusted companion, to deliver your care. Bestcare can assist you with that as well as we are an approved Fiscal Intermediary under New York State's Consumer Directed Program.

YOU SHOULD ONLY USE THEN TO GET CERTIFIED! Worst place I have ever worked in. They put you on a emotional roller coaster in your training. By the end of the training you’ll be lucky to see 3+ people still in training because for every little thing they will kick you out. In working there they do favor Latinos more. They take you off your schedule for every little thing and god forbid you can’t work a weekend they play with people’s livelihood it’s horrible. I will be calling the state and reporting this agency.

The home attendants of this AGENCY need to file a class action lawsuit They're being systematically denied hours because of the color of their skin.
Coordinators at said Agency, give more hours to Latino workers while telling workers of color that they have too many hours, when most are only at 20 hours or less a week.
As for me, I'll be taking my services elsewhere to a company who cares for it workforce instead of stifling them.
Will be back later with contact info in regards to standing up to these inhumane practices allowed by Bestcare Inc.

If i could give negative 1 star I would. One woman by the name of Evalice C. was a disrespectful and a belittling bigot. She spoke down to those who applied for work as if her dad owned the company. This location lacks professionalism and pure intelligence. They are incompetent and speak down to people. If you are looking for work, take your energy and time to another location. Their home health aide to client retention rate is low.

I am sad to read all the negative reviews. I worked for this agency back in 2010, and can honestly say, while under the administration of Aida Salinas, this agency was the best back then. I do not know what has changed since then, as I no longer live in the area, and resigned in 2011, but I am hoping the negative reviews get acknowledged in order to clarify all the concerns :(

People here talk to seniors in a condescending border line bully matter. Staff member Patricia tells the patients what she is giving them with no choice of their own. Patricia actually calls one of the patients in this program on Thursday to ask her if she is going to church on a Sunday and if she says yes she doesn't send the service that day leaving her client alone to fend for herself. Mind you senior has ALS and is in need of 7 day service. A place that can hire people like Patricia to facilitate anything should be out of business. Quote its against best cares policy to send an aide to accompany

The worst service providers I've ever encountered. Between the inconsistencies with regards to the aides and scheduling, the lack of communication is mindboggling. STILL taking a tally of broken figurines, dishes and glassware damaged by their aides, as well as assessing missing items of sentimental and family value. SMMFH.

There is a women there named ms colon who is the most racist she says slick things about u and then tries to laugh with you like its something funny... she talks to you as if your not a adult and your her child ...she is not afraid to say that she paid for everything so you owe her this and you owe her that ...as if it’s coming from her direct pocket when in reality it’s a government based program and they are paying for everything,her co-workers see what she is about but are scared to

So they basically removed my mother’s health aide of three years just because she was becoming too close to my mother. I don’t know what kind of place they are running but they need to fix this. We were fine with her and my mother was very comfortable with her. The excuse was “ upper management said so.”
You people are supposed to be helping my mother and taking care of her the best way possible. This is not fair.

I came here a few weeks ago to sign up for their HHA training program. I made sure and I called - twice - in advance to double check what the requirements were. 2 recommendation letters, proof of address, social security card, ID. Check. I asked the woman on the phone what time can I come in to fill out an application for the class. "Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm." Great.
