We ask all of our new patients to arrive to their appointment ten minutes early to allow time to complete our new patient packet.

We are so grateful for Dr. Mahal and his staff! I used to live in the bay area and would travel back to Fresno, to be seen by Dr. Mahal because I haven't found a doctor like him anywhere. He truly cares about his patients, takes time to listen, and has compassion. The office staff consistently relays messages and responds to my family's needs with an attitude of kindness and mutual respect. Doctor Mahal always has the best interest of his patients as his #1 priority. Thank you for taking care of our family like you do your own!

Kanwar Mahal has been my primary care provider for about a year and a half and I have nothing but good things to say about him and his practice. Clean, comfortable waiting room, courteous gals at the front desk, & great medical assistants.
Due to the side effects from the therapy I received for a bout with prostate cancer I've made several visits to his office in the last year. I know that doctors have busy schedules, but nevertheless feel like all the bases get covered with each visit. The doctor/specialist he referred me to was also top notch. He gets 5 stars from me and I highly recommend him

The Mahal's have been my primaries for over a year. IMO they have the best bedside manner and once they're in the room, you have their attention. Sometimes the office gets behind on time, but I know when I'm waiting that they are being thorough with all of their patients, so I don't mind the wait. They check everything off of the list when it comes to addressing your health. They are also quick to get me in if I'm having problems. The front office is equally fantastic and are always smiling and asking you about your day. I will never go to another PCP!! My friends even

They intentionally kept my blood lab result for my health issues for a month and never once call me or my mom that they got my result...well I got my result and turns out I'm at possible risk of liver condition...how dare they never call us and made us wait. Also, how dare irresponsible they are...I really want to say they're the best doctors, but unfortunately, I'm disappointed. I'm going to find a new doctor soon.

I have been a patient for over two years. This morning I called the office requesting the doctor to see me for a dog bite and was told the doctor would not fit me in and that I should go to urgent care!!! I thought that's why I had a private physician. I guess their schedule is more important than their patients' care. I'm going to find a new doctor.

So I was referred here by a family member due to the fact I just moved back to Fresno and needed a DR. I called 3 weeks ago and the soonest they could see me was 3 weeks out. Maybe due to the fact I was a new client. They sent me all the "new patient" paperwork in the mail which I thought was a little awkward because every Dr I have seen does everything on line but maybe it's due to them being a small business, husband and wife. I walked in and the first thing I noticed was the bright pink paper saying "if you cancel appointment or are a no show there is a $100 fee" Anyways

I moved to Fresno a year ago, couldn't find a good primary care dr. But then came across Amber Mahal! The wait times are never long as I schedule early morning appointments, she sees me, asks about what's going on and appropriately treats me and answers any questions I have. I don't feel rushed.
The waiting room is very clean and comfortable. They have just revamped, very nice.
The lady who calls you back is also very welcoming with a great personality. The receptionists are also very welcoming and friendly.
Overall, I'm very happy with my experience with Dr. Amber Mahal

This review is about Amber Mahal, M.D. Dr. Mahal may be a good doctor. That said, I dread making an appointment with her. Why? Because the wait time for your scheduled appointment is terrible. A 4:30pm appointment is an hour and 15 minutes wait time with no explanation. Then the doctor rushes through the appointment. There are no sinks in the examining rooms, which begs the question, did Dr. Mahal wash her hands before her exam of me? A physical was rudimentary. Very perplexing. The entire exam involves Dr. Mahal on her laptop asking questions and entering data. Perhaps I am spoiled as before

Dr. Kanwar Mahal really cares about his patients! No matter if they've been seeing for years or for the first first time. He treats them all with the same attention and care that a true professional would. The office is always clean, the staff are friendly, and always punctual when it comes to appointments. He makes sure to give each patient the time that they need and provides excellent explanations! 5/5 WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Wow!! This office HANDS DOWN is the best office in fresno. I've always gotten in within 24 HOURS and even tho they are busy, they always squeeze me in. Some offices in town, you have to wait for a month to be seen. I've never had an issue with the billing department..I was referred to this office by one of the physicians I work with and multiple other people. I've always been referred out to great specialists and have always been happy. Their office manager is the NICEST person in the world!!!!!!!! Trust me, I work in a very busy hospital setting and have to deal with multiple

Dr. Kanwar Mahal and Dr. Amber Mahal are the best doctors we have ever been to! They are caring & very thorough. My husband and I have referred my mother, brother, sister-in-law and their family to this office. They are all as happy with them as we are. The doctors care about their patients and the office staff does too. We cannot say enough good things about this wonderful office!
