I am first and foremost a wife and a mother to three beautiful daughters. They are my reason I do what I do every day. I am a former high school science teacher (physics to be exact), so relating to children comes naturally to me.

There are a couple things to keep in mind when trying to decide where you would like your family's session to take place. The feel- Do you like urban or natural? The time of day- Some locations are great for both morning and evening while some others only work for evening sessions. The season- every location will look a little different depending on the time of year.

The goal from every session is that you have tangible and beautiful artwork of your family to treasure for years. Includes an on location session with immediate family members, usually lasting around 1-1.5 hours, depending on location. After the session, you will be sent a private downloadable and sharable gallery of 50+ high resolution edited digital images, both in color and black.

Modern School Photography is a unique boutique photography service that allows each child to be him or herself, whether it be silly and outgoing or reserved and quiet. As a former teacher, I enjoy interacting with students and getting images that show their genuine personalities. I capture several images of each child, giving mom and dad the opportunity to select their favorite image(s).
