Our filling capabilities span a broad range of products from beverage based drinks to blended juices. Kosher foods are those that conform to the regulations of the Jewish Halakhic law framework, kosher meaning fit or allowed to be eaten.
A list of some kosher foods are found in the book of Leviticus 11:1-47. There are also certain kosher rules found there. Reasons for food not being kosher include the presence of ingredients derived from nonkosher animals or from kosher animals that were not properly slaughtered, a mixture of meat and milk, wine or grape juice (or their derivatives) produced without supervision, the use of produce from Israel that has not been tithed, or the use of nonkosher cooking utensils and machinery.

FreshCo Ltd was started in 1996 by owner Clifford F. Burg to support the process and packaging needs of his regional premium juice brand "Indian River Select Brand". The facility was constructed to facilitate juice handling technologies that preserve flavor to insure a better tasting, not from concentrate juice for the brand and then package the product in clear, polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles.
Our efficient and precise approach to manufacturing will shave hours off the typical production schedule. From brand start-up to national brand we handle all manufacturing. Product blending is preformed in a climate-controlled room. We use stainless steel refrigerated tanks with top mounted mixers to blend many different drinks.
The filling equipment at FreshCo is designed to handle a variety of different bottle sizes and shapes. FreshCo customers can choose from a wide selection of stock bottles that are supplied by our bottle manufacturing partners or can work with our bottle manufacturing partners to design their own bottles to give them a unique look.

Freshco has the ability to unload both a juice tanker and a sugar tanker simultaneously or stage two juice tankers simultaneously.
The FreshCo Waste Water Treatment Center [WWTC] was constructed to treat 100% of the process waste water that is generated by our operations. Through the WWTC treatment process the water is pretreated then released to our areas main waste water treatment facility.
In 2007, 2008, 2009 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014,2015,2016,2017,2018,2019 & 2020, The Fort Pierce Utilities Authority awarded FreshCo the "Environmental Stewardship Award" in recognition of Excellence in Environmental Stewardship for Implementing Water Conservation and Pollution Controls.
