My children are patients at Mason Pediatrics. We went there last week because my daughter had some stomach issues. Upon arrival they took her blood pressure, temp, and swabbed her throat in the parking lot. The nurse came back to the car and said that she needed some vaccines to continue the appointment. She needed her genital warts vaccine (she is 14) and her flu vaccines. She also informed me that their flu shots change every year but she needed to get whatever they recommended. I told her that my children are up to date on all of their vaccines according to the requirements through the state

100% recommend this pediatrician, the staff here is so nice, and they treat you like family. It was hard for me to find a pediatrician for my kids that I really loved and connected with, we've been through 3, and Mason Peds is by far the greatest one I've EVER dealt with. Huge shoutout to my absolute FAVORITE receptionist Shirley Anne (not sure if I spelled that correctly), OUTSTANDING nurse Amanda, and THE BEST DOCTOR EVER Jamie. I love the entire staff at this office! The nurses and admin staff treat me like their own family, and every doctor and PA is incredibly caring and competent. They have gone above and beyond to help me and my children when things come up unexpectedly, including last minute appointments, giving me home phone numbers, or finding supplies. They not only care for my children, they support me as a parent and as a human trying to raise little humans. I could wax poetic about these people all day, but I think they already know how I feel since I tell them every time I'm there!

I took my newborn there and was coerced into medical treatment that I was not informed on and didn’t consent to. I was bullied into the treatment by scare tactics and threats that I would be discharged if I didn’t follow instruction. I finally realized that there are other pediatrician offices out there that do not force you to do things to your child that you’re not comfortable with and left the practice. I am sick to think that I allowed them all to shove me around. I am my child’s only advocate and I let my child down. RUN! Far away. And in the opposite direction of this office.

We switched from a Lansing doctor to a local Mason one when we moved to the area over 5 years ago. Specifically, Dr. Suess, has given our son special attention and he does have special needs. Our daughter has been with Mason Pediatrics since the beginning and of all the doctors that have worked with Dr. Suess, we choose her over any. She gives our children special attention, speaks to the child so they are able to respond or feel important. She connects at a level that is important.
