Morris Engineering was established by its Founder and Chairman Roger Morris in 1984. The family company has developed to be one of the most respected precision engineering companies in the South West England and is now being run by the next generation, Managing Director Antony Dyer and Financial Director Andrew Smith.
Precision is integral for all our customers, especially Aerospace where clients require agile support due to the constant advancement of technology to which we are very proud to successfully support. With ever increasing evolution within healthcare our customers quite rightly demand an innovative operation to support them.
With the use of SolidWorks we can take a customers idea from concept through to the manufacturing process and produce models and engineering drawings in a range of formats. Our design team have a massive volume of knowledge and experience of design in manufacturing. Working within a vast number of differing industries, our aim is to simplify the process for customers, making suggestions regarding product enhancement and process amendments.
Prototypes are made to customer requirements, however we understand that this can lead on to full production. Therefore our process is highly consultative in support of our customers, often passing suggestion with regard to material, product enhancement and machining efficiency. As with all of our design process, prototypes are stored with a unique number and date to ensure the smooth transition to production or any further future development.
Quality process is the most important area of what we do at Morris Engineering. This process ensures that our clients can rely on their machined components being exactly correct to the design specification. From the moment something is checked out of our bonded materials store it is accounted for through each stage of machining and finishing right through to dispatch.
