As you age, your body goes through significant changes that are greatly affected by diet and exercise, lifestyle choices, hormonal changes, stress levels, and your own genetics. At Balanced Health and Wellness, our goal is to help you achieve optimal health, beauty, and wellness from both the "inside out, " as well as from the "outside in, " so that you can look and feel your very best at any age!
Bio-identical hormones are hormones that are virtually identical to those produced by your own body. By contrast, synthetic hormones are manufactured by pharmaceutical companies and are chemically similar to (but NOT the same as) the hormones made by your body. Synthetic hormones may offer a few benefits, but unlike natural hormones, they do NOT always fit exactly into your body's hormone receptor sites.
By combining the applications of hyaluronic acid fillers with growth factors derived from a small draw of your own blood, the PRP Facelift offers an exciting new non-surgical approach to reviving your beauty and restoring lost facial volume. At the core of all connective tissues in the human body is a highly organized water-binding molecule called hyaluronan, better known as hyaluronic acid (HA).
As we get older, our faces change. Sooner or later the inevitable happens, and we begin to notice the appearance of "crows feet, " frown and "worry" lines, and the development of nasal labial folds and "marionette" lines just below the mouth. Additionally, many of us also suffer a significant loss of facial volume, caused by the breakdown of connective tissue (collagen and elastin).
