Mission Mountain Winery
We are now open for our 37th season, seven days a week from 12pm to 5pm, weather permitting. We offer outdoor service of flights of wines, wine by the glass and bottles to go, and no indoor service, because our tasting room is small and the delta variant is spiking. We will resume full blown tasting when Montana reaches herd immunity.

We look forward to sharing our exquisite, award-winning wines from a truly spectacular place, located on the beautiful shore of Flathead Lake in Dayton, Montana. For the latest information, please call 406 849-5524 or Contact us by email at info@missionmountainwinery.com. Mission Mountain Winery is a family owned winery located on the West Shore of Flathead Lake, the largest natural fresh water lake west of the Mississippi, in Dayton, Montana.

Basic wine tasting venue; outdoor limited seating . Mrs. H, nice and helpful for wine flights choosing and bottles recommending. Way better wines than expected by the looks of the vineyard. Great Washington wine selection. One of the best ports in MT.

Great wines, and a large selection. We regularly order cases from them because the wines are better than much of our local selection, for the pricepoint. The winery itself is in a beautiful location, so definitely stop by when you're in the area!

I bought a bottle of huckleberry wine at the Old faithful gift shop. I didn't know what to expect but now I wish I would've gotten one for each of my family members. It tastes great!!

Wines were excellent! Because of covid 19 they weren't doing tastings and you had to go up to the window to buy a glass of wine or a bottle to go. We got a couple different wines by the glass, but couldn't get a bottle to have there. The prices were good for the white wines reds were quite a bit more! We tried both some whites and some reds. The Reisling was very good and the sunset and sweet red were both really good. The Huckleberry mountain was good. It has a fuzziness along with a very fruitful flavor!

We've enjoyed this winery for years. They have matured nicely utilizing grapes from WA states Columbia Valley. We have especially enjoyed their Superb Viognier and their Cask Conditioned Red. The setting is lovely on the shores of Flathead Lake. This summer they had tables set up outside on a grassy area in front of their tasting room, with succulent views of the lake. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. This is a must stop if you are anywhere in the area. All together a juicy experience!

The wine is delicious and the grand picture windows provide a beautiful, scenic view to enjoy while sipping your wine. $5 wine tasting per person, in which you get to choose five wines to try between their selections of: reds, white and dessert wines. The bartender was really easy to talk to, though he didn't always have answers to my questions. A really good experience.

Easy to miss off the roadway, this Winery tasting experience is a nice way to take in the scenic views while also sampling some full flavored sweet and semi-sweet selections of wine. They have dessert wines if you like them very sweet. They also have some drier wines if that is your preference. Tastings are $5 per person, a fee that is waived if you buy a bottle of wine! Wine bottles range in price from about $10 to about $50. The staff was very nice, too. Worth a stop. They are open May - October.
